Please be advised that I'm only reviewing the rooftop terrace bar here, as we didn't stay in the hotel, but I thought it was worth leaving a review. The view is indeed lovely, with the Giralda and Alcazar only a block away, but the cocktail we had was 7.50 euros (relatively expensive for Seville) and the worst I've ever had. A margarita should have salt around the rim, but not mixed into the drink, and it shouldn't be this weak - all I could taste was salty water - hardly any lime or tequila. If you can't make cocktails, don't serve them - I wish we'd stuck to wine or Cava, where you can't go wrong in Spain.
The room was a fair size and the staff very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent and the terrace was special. What sold it, given the quite expensive price, was the terrace bar which had a breathtaking view over the roof tops of the Alcazar and the Giralda. We were there from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning... Saturday we retired to the room for a siesta after a long walk in town. Sadly the terrace bar had been filled to capacity ( and people waiting ) with non resident visitors which we couldn’t access it ... even at 7 pm. Meanwhile the noise from the terrace was significant so resting was impossible. The rooms are arranged around a central well which leads to the upstairs terrace. Noise from the terrace aside, the noise from the lobby area was also unreasonable. Most rooms face the rear of the property so no views. Our room opens into an internal shaft ... very quiet on that side but Saturday morning we had to close the door to the small balcony as the smell of cigarette smoke from below was warring into the room. Size of room was big enough but only one chair and lighting was bright white and awful with either the main chandelier or very small over bed lights and nothing else. Bathroom was a good size. Poor value for money ... the high cost is perhaps understandable due to location and quite rightly there is a lot made of the terrace... but not if you can’t use it as it’s jammed wit…
We were only visiting the roof top bar and stayed much longer than expected, price of the cava was very reasonable and with a great view of the cathedral and quite a quiet bar all in all it was a very pleasant time would definitely visit again
I love this hotel, the location is amazing right next to the famous Alcazar and Cathedral, my room had a view of it and the terrace have an even more amazing view The food was great, the drinks were super refreshing, and I had the best time there! The best part of the state versus staff though, front desk Señorita Elena help me with tourists, even looking for other hotels that other places, etc. and the restaurant manager and staff were super friendly as well highly recommend it!
We went here for drinks and tapas in the afternoon. We sat on the roof top terrace with a great view to the cathedral. The view was absolutely the best thing about the visit, because the food was nothing special, and the service was incredible slow.
