Less than 10 minutes from Seville's airport, this Ibis is a handy spot if you've got an early departure from Seville or a late arrival and your destination for the day is not Seville ... assuming you've hired a car. It's on a major highway, so it's not the most attractive part of the city. I suspect the building was converted from an old office block. Elevators are small and quite slow. The restaurant is serviceable - there aren't many options within walking distance. We had a pizza, a couple fo beers and went to bed right after. Rooms are clean and basic - like many Ibis hotels, the chain runs on functionality, it's a place to lay your head for a few hours. Bathroom did have a funky smell from poor plumbing though. Breakfast was ok - mainly cold meats and breads. Service friendly and efficient. It was exactly what we needed. Parking is €6/night if you're not lucky enough to nab one of the hotel's limited free spots out front. There's a basement one directly below the hotel and another in an office block nearby which is the underground parking lot for another (cheaper) hotel in the Ibis chain (an Ibis Budget). Payment for the parking is only with cash from an automated machine.…
We had a lovely stay, made all the better by the staff who were all very friendly and helpful, Ibis should be proud of them all. Good breakfast and we had a lovely spit roast chicken dinner on our first night there.
Old school Ibis located next to some major road junctions. The rooms are small and basic and ours had an unpleasant odour. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient. The adjoining restaurant provided decent basic food at a reasonable price.
we stayed 8 nights in this hotel. the facilities of the hotel are good. the staff is excellent - SUPER - friendly and always willing to help. in 2019 i stayed 156 nights in a hotel across the globe - from 1 to 5 star hotels - but the Staff of IBIS sevilla was the best I ve experienced in 2019. i would like to thank them all for their efforts.
We stayed for 4 nights over New years. The pros: it is a 5 minutes walk from the first stop made by the EA airport bus. 4 euro pp one way. The bed was super comfortable. Everything was spotless clean. Breakfast was a pretty good spread, no hot items but something for everyone. The kitchen staff were very friendly and the Farm evening staff were very friendly and they have a large patio off the dining room which was great to have a beer in before turning in. The cons: the 5 minutes walk from the bus stop is a little seedy thru an unpaved parking lot complete with a homeless guy living in a van. It was 65 degrees and they had shut off their AC. When we asked for a fan because our room was hot they told us they don't supply fans. We ended up leaving the window open during the day but had to shut it at night for the street noise. And last but not least, we had booked 4 nights several months in advance and had requested to be in a quiet area of the hotel. When we arrived around 8pm from the airport the young woman in a plaid shirt gave us a room directly across from the elevator. When we saw that we never entered the room and immediately went back down stairs. A young man tried to assist us in changing our room but the woman in the plaid shirt would not allow him to move us saying it was the last room in the hotel. The young man had already told us there were rooms available but she wouldn't allow him to move us. And on top of that, she had already charged our credit card the full amount of the booking before we had even arrived. And when we questioned that we were told it was because we arrived after 6pm and had a credit card on file. Most places only charge the first night in the event of a no show but all four of ours was charged in advance! As a side note, if you are taking the EA bus back to the airport for an early flight it doesn't arrive to that stop until 4:57am and it is standing room only when it arrives. Overall we would recommend if you are on a budget.…
