Stayed here with my best friend during half term! We loved it! It was quirky and unique with a wonderful vintage feel. The staff were lovely and so helpful. We fell in love with Seville so will definitely stay again.
Lovely authentic hotel . Would recommend as easy to get to all main attractions and short walk to square with bars and restaurants. Very clean room and our room 211 was a bit dark but large bathroom made up for it . A lot of teas available at breakfast and everything you could want to set you up for the day . Be careful when going out the main door as only one shoe width of pavement but can cross to larger one on other side of road and once you know it you are more wary . One bugbear when we arrived the man on reception was not very welcoming , no mention of a welcome or if we had a good flight etc . Expected more from such a lovely hotel .
Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel is very centrally located, right in the core of Seville. Main attractions easily reached on foot. Rooms were very clean and quite soacious. Internal courtyard gives the hotel the typical Andalucian character. Breakfast was good and varied. Staff were very helpful and always willing to assist. Only 10/15 minutes by taxi from the airport. Recommended!
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The location is excellent. We were able to walk everywhere. The decor inside the hotel is beautiful. The room was clean. However, the window in our room was a slit window in the corner which gave hardly any light. The bedside and overhead lighting was so poor that, if we wanted to read, we would have to sit in the lobby to get adequate natural light, which faded at sunset. The playlist of music in the lobby consisted of six songs sung loudly by the tenors in a loop for over 12 hours each day. The toilet in our room would run all the time. As a tea drinker, I found it very inconvenient to have to wait until 11:00 am to get hot water. Kettles were not available in the rooms.
first impressions of the hotel, standing on a very narrow street, will not convey the warm welcome available inside. PLEASE stop and look before stepping out of the door as you step directly into the road. The hotel was, previously, a typical Seville house built around an inner courtyard which creates excellent public space which includes a breakfast room (we did not have breakfast at the hotel) which becomes, from 1100 - 2200hrs, a coffee shop with free coffee, biscuits, soup (all from a machine). Our room (105) was adequate for our needs (one only needs it to sleep in!) with twin beds and an adequate bathroom. The water was hot on all occasions but the toiletries supplied were of medium quality and were not replenished during our stay of 3 nights. The room was quite dim with the only window being out onto a small courtyard overshadowed by the surrounding buildings. The reception staff were very welcoming and a great source of local information. The room and public spaces were exceptionally clean. The hotel is situated a short walk from Plaza Alfalfa with bars, tapas restaurants and coffee shops within 50-100M and is a short walk (15 minutes) from cathedral, Alcazar and river frontage. In short, an ideal hotel for a short stay in Seville at a very reasonable price. However parking would be a problem. We used taxi from/to the Airport at a fixed cost of around €24 and there is a taxi ran in Plaza Alfalfa.…
