Just returned from a 2 night stay booked through late rooms.
On the plus side
- the location was very good for going to see all the sites and various neighbourhoods. It was in a slightly odd street, but it was about 60 seconds stroll...More
The hotel is a ten minute walk from the cathedral and main attractions. It has a substantial supermarket opposite it. The rooms were very spacious with a good sized bathroom with bath and shower. Rooms had a safe deposit box and hairdryer. The charge for...More
This was a lovely hotel, we got a great deal, so excellent value for money, we paid 130 euros for a twin room for 3 nights, without breakfast. We were very, very, satisfied. The room was big, plenty of room, cupboard space, etc, and a...More
Decent good value hotel within walking distance of most places.

The rooms we occupied (a single and a double) were on the first floor, ranged around a central lobby and looking down to an internal courtyard at ground floor level. Neither room had a patio or balcony fronting onto the outside street. As mentioned in my post, we considered this a huge advantage!
I've just checked the hotel website for you and I notice that the virtual tour shows a family room with a balcony, though it's not clear if this is external or overlooks the courtyard. If this is really important to you, it might be best to contact the hotel to clarify the situation. The Abril is a small hotel (20 rooms, I think) and is booked up very quickly, so the earlier you can secure the room you want, the better.
Sorry I can't be of more help to you. I hope that you will have a wonderful trip to Seville.
