We had the misfortune to be caught up in the COVID-19 lockdown on our recent visit to beautiful Seville. The hotel could not do enough for us, all the staff from the management to the cleaners were brilliant. We are planning a return visit next year.
Although the hotel is located on the other side of the river, it’s an easy 10 minute walk to all the attractions. Additionally it is quiet, clean and minimalist, but very comfortable beds. There is underground parking for 18 euros a day and a super breakfast buffet managed by one woman (Karen) who paid great attention to details. Love the wmt German made coffee machine which gives any kind of coffee including decaf .
It's hard to fault this hotel: everything works, and the staff were - without exception - friendly and helpful. Other reviews evidence this, so just a few additional observations. The hotel is not plush, but very comfortable. Rooms are not a uniform size: ours was large with desk and seating areas, and an extremely wide and comfortable bed. The location in Los Remedios is close to a pedestrianised local shopping street which goes north towards the San Telmo bridge, allowing a level walk into the centre of the city. Booking online with the hotel, you can take advantage of breakfast offers which are normally charged at 15 euros per person. There's a very good choice of hot and cold food, but on the mornings when something lighter was needed we found a couple of friendly cafes within easy walking distance serving coffee, juice and tostada at very modest prices. Once breakfast is over, there are no other hotel meal offerings. The reception area is large and under-utilised, and might benefit from being used as a space for refreshments at other times of the day. We opted to take a taxi to/from the airport, but a ten minute walk will get you to the airport bus stop just across the river. In terms of value for money and a calm and relaxed environment, don't hesitate: this is a really good place to stay.…
Everything was ok. Rooms were very good cleaned. Perfect staff, especially Karen in the restaurant was friendly. At the reception desk the staff is very helpfull. If necessary they give you a lot of information about the city. Accomodation ok. Location very good: quiet environment and about 10 minutes walking to the old town.
Pros: - Location: (Walking) Teatro de la Maestranza (12mins), Parque Maria Luisa & Plaza de España (13mins), Cathedral and Giralda (16mins), Alcazar (16mins), Triana (19mins). - Bathroom amenities: Soap bar, shampoo, conditioner, dental kit, hairbrush, tissues, hairdryer (excellent quality), slippers, shoe sponge. - Free in-room WiFi (excellent speeds, approx. 86Mbps). - 5 star staff, especially Karen in the breakfast room. Extremely proactive and excellent service by everyone in the hotel. - Well sound-proofed from outside noise, fast and high quality services (laundry, room cleaning, etc.), excellent shower & water pressure. Cons: - Whilst I did not note any ‘cons’ for this hotel, perhaps as a slight improvement, they could offer more English-speaking TV channels.
