We stayed here for two nights last week. The hotel entrance is in the older, quaint part of the hotel. Pass thru the lobby and you enter a modern marble courtyard. This leads to the newer part of the hotel which is where we stayed. Our three rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good but there is an excellent bakery around the corner!

Stayed here for 5 nights. Reasonable location about 20 mins walk to old town. Has bars and Restaurants close by. Our room compact but modern, on ground floor, larger rooms in new part. Some on roof by pool looked better. Great atmospheric entrance, reception, and bar area. Nice Courtyard where can have coffee (and Breakfast but too cool in the morning when we were there!) Breakfast very good, hot and cold buffet style, with loads of options. Ate in the restaurant once, food was better than expected and priced reasonably. We would leave the hotel in the morning and return late in the evening as making the most of wonderful Seville, so Hotel ideal as quiet and comfortable, with a good Breakfast, fairly close to the old town.

Hotel San Gil is a short walk to the squares and coffee patios of the old town. It's food is good and I have no complaints about the pool. However, when we went to our room upon our arrival, we found it hot and steamy. We tried the air conditioning and found it wasn't working well. Our rooms windows opened onto a walkway, so we weren't comfortable leaving with then open. We went to the desk about this, didn't get any satisfaction. They said they had no other rooms. It wasn't until our third night that they finally got around to sending someone to look at the air conditioning. They were unable to fix it that night and came back the next day. Finally on our last night (5rth night) they brought us a fan - which was inadequate.

Dear Customer, thank you for your comments. We are very sorry for your experience due to the problem with the air conditioning. We want to indicate that it has been a specific problem and that it has already been solved. We want to apologize for the delay in resolving it. We know that the best solution is not to offer a fan but a room change, if it is not possible to fix it at that time. If we were full the day of your complaint, we could have changed your room the next day. We do not want this to serve as an excuse. Thank you and we want to indicate that each comment helps us to improve.

Lovely hotel . Staff very helpful , great breakfast , rooms quite noisy as stunning courtyard but with a huge tree that has birds nesting in it in their hundreds . So loud bird song in morning and even late at night . Rooms very clean . Would not say it’s a 4 star . More 3 star . Only complaint is that it is about 25-30 minute walk into main area . Uber taxis are cheaper .
