At the beginning I thought it's a great place, but unfortunately I didn't receive the double room I purchased. It was nothing like on the pictures and I understand sometimes there is bit of online catfishing which is okay if the room is still okayish. Due to coronavirus the kitchen was also locked which the hostel crew forgot to mention to me & it did kinda mess up my plans. However, they were serving breakfast for 3,50 Euros. The service was okay. The girl on the counter gave me a free voucher for the breakfast, which was nice.

My friend and I have been traveling for a few months now and I must say this is one of our favorite hostels. It’s beautiful, has a fully functional kitchen for the amount of people it hosts, rooms were cleaned daily and the terrace is a nice place to relax. They have daily activities, and pub crawls that we participated in. Alex and Ana were so much fun showing us around the local taverns. Everything worked, WiFi, hot showers, and an amazing atmosphere.

The beds and bathroom were pretty good, with a very sizeable locker which I appreciate. The snacks that they serve at the hostel bar are pretty good. They don’t provide a dinner for everyone which is a con but there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

Great location. Great top deck. Reasonable bar prices. Good social hostel. Pool filters need changing though. Water was nasty. Overpriced pub crawl. Too much walking and Better bars in alameda 5 mins away. 1 bathroom for 12 bed dorm?? Could be waiting a while.

Stayed at Oasis in June with my friends. Our experience was terrible and would not recommend the hostel for anyone. We spent 3 nights here and had the worst hostel experience we’ve ever had. On arrival to our dorm room, one of our lockers was unlockable, staff were notified and after 3 nights the issue was not rectified, even after telling staff multiple times. I was lucky to be staying with friends who I could lock my valuables with, if I was a solo traveller it would’ve been a much larger issue. Secondly, the bathroom handle in the common area was broken. I got locked inside the bathroom, as there was no handle on the inside and did not realise til I had shut the door upon entering. Staff had to be retrieved and had to manually open the door with screwdrivers. The next day I went to use it again, and the handle had still not been placed on the door, however this time I realised and avoided using. Clearly the hostel does not care about broken items and facilities, as they never seem to fix any issues present. As we were there for multiple days we stocked up on dinners, snacks etc so that we could budget (5 month trip) and cook ourselves food without spending loads of money. 90% of the items we labelled and placed in the fridges were stolen. Had yoghurts stolen on multiple different days, a whole container of juice drank, donuts eaten, pasta stolen and so forth. After day 2 we completely clicked it at the reception staff about their lack of respect for guests, especially with the fridge situation. We had to remunerate items and costs multiple times due to everything we had being stolen. We asked the staff to check the cameras but they were “unable”. Came down again later that night to complain about something else and the staff were in fact watching the cameras. When we called them out on the footage actually being visible, they blamed the food stealing on a guest who “overstayed their welcome” but we actually believe it was volunteer staff taking our items, as food was stolen even after the supposed guest was asked to check out. After lots of complaining, we received one free breakfast voucher each. The breakfast was basic and did not make up for the lack of interest they show for patrons of the hostel. Would not recommend this hostel. Run down, lot’s of issues, disrespectful staff and an overall bad time.
