Travellers' Choice
The 16th-century Palacio De Santa Ines, in the Unesco World Heritage Albayzín district, is a 5 minute walk from Granada Cathedral. Crossing the small hall at the entrance, visitors will be fascinated by the courtyard beauty because of its fountain, columns, balustrades and in particular, of Renaissance frescos painted.

We had a wonderful stay at the Palacio de Santa Ines as part of our visit to Granada, the Al-Hambra, and the city's sites. Pedro, the clerk we interacted with every day was beyond wonderful--kind, funny, and a huge help. The hotel is large and in an ancient building, but central to Granada. It was easy to get around everywhere on foot. The rooms are large and comfortable, with windows opening to a central (covered) court-yard. There's elevator access, and a FANTASTIC buffet breakfast. If I were to go back to Granada, I would stay here without any doubt.

Hotel's Favourite
We visited Granada for nine days and Palacio de Santa Ines was our home while we were there. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. First of all, even though there are a few stairs upon arrival, the hotel is in a perfect location to walk anywhere in Granada. We had a triple room. It was very large for a European hotel room. I had a platform up a spiral staircase where I slept. There was a queen bed downstairs. The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. There was plenty of room for our stuff and a mini-bar refrigerator. The people at the front desk were all very helpful. Anna was especially good to us. The hotel gave us Valentine Day suckers and even a bottle of Cava champagne on our last night. The breakfast were good, with typical European food. There was great coffee and meats and cheese. The lady who worked in the breakfast room was so positive and nice. Coffee and left-over pastries were available in the afternoon, which was great after a day of walking aound town. If you're wondering about which hotel to choose, I highly recommend Palacio de Santa Ines.

It felt like going home to our house but centuries ago! Warm reception in a lobby that could have been art museum with frescos fro 16th century. We had a room looking up at the Alhambra which was enhanced by a full moon. Breakfast was not spectacular but I would go back and back. This is an hotel that I would revisit!

This is a 16th century property with lots of character. The room may look a little tired and needs and update, however everything is still functional. The location is central, and easily reached by a taxi from train station for about 7 euros. Walk to Alhambra and Albacin district. Lots of superb eateries and cafes nearby. Breakfast is simple and good.
