All the positive things that have been written in the many reviews are more than true. 15 minutes walk to the Alhambra - and not more than that to all the tapas bars in the center of town. Perfect service - the guys at the reception speak unexpectedly good English and are helpful whenever you have a special request or... More

Traveling in Granada with a car isn't recommended -- the streets are steep, narrow and full of people. However, if you have one as we did, the Casa Morisca is a great place to stay. It's one of the few places we found in the old part of the city with free parking on-site, and it's in the perfect spot... More

Casa Morisca is a very nice hotel with small but comfortable and clean rooms. The hotel has decent views of the Alhambra albeit over multiple house tops/barriers. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast selection is excellent. But be aware - it is located at the end of the road from the plaza nueva and most major... More

We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay at this old moorish-style hotel. The rooms were spotless and the location (at the bottom of the Alhambra) was great. The staff were very friendly, the breakfasts tasty and the bonus was free parking. We would definitely stay here again. Angela, John, Bill and Gill.

Great little hotel in a perfect spot. Right across the street from the Alhambra which is lit up beautifully at night. Its about a 15 walk to the entrance on the other side. Short walk to Plaza Nueva and Calle Colon and right down the hill from the Albaicin. It is a little difficult to find; our GPS was totally... More

Nice location with view of the Alhambra. The rooms are different (no cookie cutter rooms here) with free parking in front of the hotel. Easy 10 minute walk along the river to the center of Granada. Nice common area to lounge in at the end of the day. The staff couldn't have been more friendly.

We found this small and comfortable hotel to be in a great location for visiting the Alhambra. We took a tour that was booked for us right from the hotel. Due to the fact the streets are so narrow we walked about 10min to get to the tour. The hotels beds were very comfortable. The reception was always helpful. The... More

Having stayed in one 4,and one 5 star hotel on this particular trip to Spain, this last minute substitute for our last 5 star hotel in Granada made us feel a little apprehensive. We need not have worried! This is a real gem of a hotel, unpretentious but absolutely charming. Beautifully restored with original materials, it has great character. Staff... More

Strongly recommended. Upon arrival, Wilfredo (please forgive me if I got the name wrong) helped us with our luggage, parked our car in the narrow spot reserved for us, and assisted us in numerous ways large and small. He was a generous, attentive and friendly host. The hotel accommodations are lovely, the beds were firm, the rooms large and clean,... More
