upon entering the casa morisca you are blown away by the beauty of the house. a tiled inner courtyard with wooden terraces lining the walls. kind of like going back in time. the location is ideal in the heart of the ancient granada district on...More
This is a very beautiful hotel and I have no hesitation is going for 5 stars. It has 15 rooms, I think, in a 15th century house reminiscent of a Moroccan riad, on 2 1/2 floors built round an open courtyard. The building reminded us...More
Stunningly beautiful, quiet and very special. One of those reviews where you only want to whisper as you don't want too many people to know about this gem. Great location too & parking. Our room (8) was simply magnificent and it was a real treat...More
We loved our stay at Casa Morisca. We were very lucky as due to a small fault on our reservation we were upgraded to the room at the top of the hotel which boasted incredible views of the Alhambra from both the bedroom and bathroom....More
We only stayed one night but wished we had planned to stay longer. Lots to look around. Ideally located near the river in the old part of the town within a easy walk up to the Alhambra palace or you can catch the bus. They...More

I don’t think the hotel books ahead. Their website has the link for tickets, though. Be sure you use the link on the hotel website because I remember having trouble booking too. We booked our tickets ahead 3 months to the day, we had read that tickets are limited since they don’t want the Alhambra too crowded. You could try for Alhambra by Night tickets, it was not as crowded and it was magical. You just don’t get to see quite as much and you don’t get to see the gardens. I would write to the hotel and ask if there is another way to get tickets. Also, if you’re driving, don’t let your GPS guide you, it may take you behind the hotel on a street above it where you cannot leave your car. It’s the narrowest street in Granada and we had 3 inches of clearance on either side of our midsize car. It was a difficult drive. When you are on the correct street it’s also very narrow and looks like a pedestrian zone, but you can get through.
