This is a very charming hotel. Beautifully restored building that is super clean but keeps the Spanish/Muslim heritage. We had a room with original Muslim wooden ceilings and an amazing view of the Alhambra from the window (it is literally on the hill above the...More
This hotel was exactly what we wanted, and exactly as described by others on TripAdvisor. The rooms were small but quiet (we paid extra for the view of the town, which was worth every penny). The breakfast was perfectly fine. The public spaces were dramatically...More
Stayed here for 1 night. This hotel is extremely difficult to find. Best way is to park in the outskirts and get a taxi in as there are lots of restrictions with private vehicles. You have to register your car registration with the hotel first...More
I would like to confirm all of the positive points from other reviewers. Some helpful tips: the Mirador Room is the only room on top of the Hotel and has a breathtaking view of the Alhambra, you can walk to the Alhambra in twenty steep...More
We were really impressed with the hotels central location. You can see the Alhambra Palace from the windows. The downside, and something we almost missed, is that if you are driving, you MUST go on the hotels own website and get their instructions as only...More

I don’t think the hotel books ahead. Their website has the link for tickets, though. Be sure you use the link on the hotel website because I remember having trouble booking too. We booked our tickets ahead 3 months to the day, we had read that tickets are limited since they don’t want the Alhambra too crowded. You could try for Alhambra by Night tickets, it was not as crowded and it was magical. You just don’t get to see quite as much and you don’t get to see the gardens. I would write to the hotel and ask if there is another way to get tickets. Also, if you’re driving, don’t let your GPS guide you, it may take you behind the hotel on a street above it where you cannot leave your car. It’s the narrowest street in Granada and we had 3 inches of clearance on either side of our midsize car. It was a difficult drive. When you are on the correct street it’s also very narrow and looks like a pedestrian zone, but you can get through.
