A brilliant B&B in a very interesting 17th century house in the Albaicin. Felt steeped in history. It is a little trek up hill to the B&B, especially with cases, but it is definitely worth it and the views of the Alhambra are magnificent. Christian is a real character and a wonderful host and there was lots of laughter and...

We had stayed in this small hotel (in a traditional Spanish house) some fifteen years ago, and were delighted to still find it full of charm and character (though with some welcome added modern conveniences, like air con and fridges). The place is in an excellent location: very close to the heart of the old town and yet very peaceful....

I would love to give this place 5 stars if not for the uncomfortable experience with the manager. He was very personable and generously offered us a late check out. However, he does NOT stay at the property and he will not tell you that. The night of our stay we were the only family staying and the manager checked...

Good bnb, great location and very helpful owner. It's superb value for money too. If you take that into consideration this is an excellent choice and highly recommended. The hotel and local area of Albayzin are full of the old Spanish/Moorish character. (Try the local "Cafe 4 Gatos" and "Taberna 22" around the corner too). Christian himself has some very...

We stayed two nights in this wonderful character hotel in March 2015. There are only four rooms in this converted house. Each room has its own character. We choose the room with the view of the Alhambra. The house had the feel of a traditional Spanish dwelling. The breakfast is good and is served by the attentive manager Christian. Be...

We stayed several nights and had a lovely room with a great bed, huge bathroom and wonderful views. It had two beds, both very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and a very good value, and Christian Most,...

Christian Most opened Casa del Aljarife's heavy wooden doors the moment he heard our footsteps early in the monring! He was ready with our hearty breakfast. We were a family of 4 with older children. We immeditely loved the place! Christian Most was a host whom I found "most" organized, methodical, communicative and helpful. His methodical personality amused and intrigued...

Casa del Aljarife is a wonderful, spacious, sprawling house situated in the heart of the beautiful and quirky Albayzin. Rooms are spacious and cosy and comfortable. Christian Most is a thoughtful host who offers to help with meeting you at the nearest square, as it is impossible to drive to the house. He offers excellent recommendations for meals. His manner...
