We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the Alhambra Palace and the stunning views over Granada itself and we were not disappointed. As we found out later, the hotel is decorated in a similar style to the Alhambra Palace itself. Although we were told that the 2 rooms we were given, were the same, one was significantly larger...

Situated high on the side of a hill overlooking the city, and very close to the Alhambra, the Alhambra Palace has an impressive facade. The interior of the Palace is no less impressive - elegant and evoking days gone by. Our room was quite small, as was the bathroom and it faced out towards the road but it had the...

Pirched on a cliff high above the city this hotel is unique. To start with the views are amazing, whether from the public rooms or bar or your own room, Granada lies at your feet and as the sun moves across the sky so do the shadows in the city and the Serra Navada mountains. The hotel design is the...

The walk into town is a bit steep, but there is a lovely pedestrian pathway through the park both to the Plaza Nueva in the city and to the Alhambra itself. Ten minutes from the heritage site and equipped with an excellent restaurant, a terrace bar and attentive, professional staff, this hotel was comfortable and modernly equipped.

Fantastic location and the service is great and the views and unbelievable. You are walking distance to the Alhambra and town. The hotel has the old world elegance feel with big high ceiling, large stairways and a fantastic bar overlooking all of Granada. The hotel is not cheap but the location is well worth paying for.

I stayed here for 2 days with my 20 year old daughter in August. It is a short walk from La Alhambra and about a 15 minute uphill walk from the city center. The hotel may need a bit of updating but for us, that was part of its charm with intricate tile work throughout. Our room was simple and...

The public areas of the hotel were lovely and very very impressive -- but our room was in serious need of work -- carpeting worn in spots, bathroom was small, furniture needed updating and that was king bed for pygmy kings. One feature: a heated toilet seat! We never figured out how to turn it off either! The location is...

It all depends on what you really want from an hotel. We want comfort (of course) but mainly we want something that we don't usually have, like we don't want "homely", for instance. Well, the Hotel Alhambra Palace certainly isn't that, it's fabulous. We love the Islamic architecture and decorative styles, that's why we wanted to visit the Alhambra itself....

My husband and I spent only one night here on an overnight visit to Granada to tour the Alhambra in November. We only wish we had had more time to enjoy this gorgeous hotel with impeccable guest services. Because we had been traveling for several days, we had only eaten a variety of snacks and small tapas before arriving here....
