Money was stolen from my locked safe and 4 other rooms. For the first 3 hours they made me feel guilty, as though I was lying. I was informed by the Manager that someone had broken into my room and my safe with a master key and stolen my money. This explanation only happened after I got the police involved. They still have not accepted any responsibility or offered me any comfort. The Manager said that the thief was someone from outside the hotel. I’ve never been treated this badly at any hotel. I will never stay here again, super dodgy. The service is APPALLING. Apparently they will look into it after I have checked out. It would have been great if the Manager said ‘I’m sorry this has happened to you on my hotel, how can I help you now?”
We are regular guests of this Hotel since 2018, when we visited Ritual Hotel first time and We are absolutely in love of vibes and friendly people from around the world who we met over there. As well perfect localisation to all clubs and really good restaurants around. The atmosphere in this Hotel is what we absolutely love, however we noticed some changes, which were different than our visits before. Unfortunately we have to complain on the team. Especially one girl from reception (blonde, can’t remember the name) condescend to guests, her attitude was too official and martinet, I had impress she treated her job by-the-book, without being laid back and smiley enough to the guests. Her friendliness was just conservative as “she has to be”. Another unpleasant person is short guy from Swimm pool bar. He didn’t know english at all and we had impress he felt himself offended when we spoke english to him. Apart from that we felt he talked about us to his work colleagues, what is highly unprofessional and rude. His attitude as a person working in hospitality is unacceptable. Other staff members - Rodrigo and breakfast staff superb friendly and nice as always. Food good as before, cleanness OK (worst than before) - we had to ask reception for support as maid never attended once to our room. She forgot to fill our toilet roll stock as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this LGBT friendly Hotel.…
We have been a few times now, the rooms are nice and it's a friendly place but it's getting very tatty! Most of the sun parasols are broken around the pool and the rooftop pool needs a lick of paint and some tlc! We enjoyed our stay and would return hoping that they've upped thier game.
Stayed at the hotel with a group of friends, 7 of us. We were visiting from Miami and had a phenomenal time. The rooms were nice, but do need an update. Room did have a nice balcony with a sea view. The pool was nice as well as the rooftop one, which is a nude pool. They do have a bar, however, they need to work on rooms. Staff was nice, especially Dani at the bar and pool. Hotel is also in a central location close to the center and all the nightlife. Will definitely go back.
They just haven’t got it right. Firstly just to confirm as a comparison to Gran Canaria this LGBT hotel sadly doesn’t tick all the boxes but could do if they eased up on the rules. Secondly the staff are great. So on no part are they at fault for the failing listed below. Particularly Staff member Dani (roof top pool bar) so attentive and pleasant. So here goes. This was our first time in Torre having predominantly stayed in GC for many years at plenty of Gay venues. Whilst the hotel it’s self is clean tidy and spacious along with the pleasant staff in all departments sadly they just haven’t set the atmosphere quite right. The Room - we paid for a superior deluxe, this it was not. (421) With a larger size room it was just lost. Yes it has an XXL bed but that’s it’s. No sofa to sit on. Regular size tv and the same size balcony as the standard rooms. We even discovered that the kitchenette had been hidden away behind a cupboard door with no way of us using it. Why? The room was clean with daily house keeping. The restaurant - breakfast was plenty with good quality food types across the board. €15 pp which was unlimited if you wished. Again the staff where very attentive and pleasant. The pool - downstairs was very much for the body beautiful types. You know the ones sitting in speedo In the half raised position to show off the abs whilst carrying carpets as they walk to the water. The roof top was much nicer less attitude and naked. With a bar on hand to grab drinks. However it doesn’t open until 11am! Why why why? They do charge for the large sun day beds up there I’m not sure why as again they are limited on space and could have at least another 10 regular beds up there. The sun rises at 6am and it’s not like there is a life guard on anyway until the bar opens at 12. Then they are so quick to rush you out from 8pm long before sunset. Why? This is a perfect time for those downstairs to come up as the large pool is in full shade from 5:30pm. Plus People are happy to buy more drinks at sunset so a loss of money for the hotel. From 8pm the hotel is soulless. No bar no restaurant. Again why ? They are missing out on people spending more money and socialising as you are banished to rooms. Until you feel the need to go out for dinner and drinks. The town it’s self wasn’t really our thing with small bars and masses of smokers. So would have appreciated some hotel bar. They have plenty of space but it was all just wasted. The spa was nice at €5 a time which has a sauna. Steam. Salt pool and jacuzzi. Can be used naked but you need to be mindful it can turn into activities! Which isn’t great in front of females. Overall not a bad hotel by any means but fair few minor tweaks would go along way to be on standard with hotels in GC and other mainland locations. It had potential but management need to sort it out.…
So I picked this hotel from on the beach we are a straight couple because its says adults only no mention that' is definitely full on gay hotel not that bothered me but I wouldn't of picked it if I would of known because am straight so the hotel is really lovely nice view of sea and pool and clean staff are very nice I got poorly and had to see doctor they helped me got me a taxi to medical centre cost 50 euros if u don't have your little medical card didn't think we needed it has we left EU wrong u do and it would of been free if I had it shower fabulous only complaint is the bed is really hard and I hurt all over and didn't sleep well and music playing from 10 am till 630pm same songs for a week did my head rite in wouldn't be so bad if they change it then its go's really quiet and peaceful even though it does say straight couples are welcome I was asked my one of the male guests what u doing in a gay hotel not been up to the roof pool because it for naked sunbathing but i I also seen this round main pool witch I didn't like sorry there were a few ladys about 6 maybe 8 of us the rest all men…
We booked our first holiday together as a couple and felt a LGBTQ+ hotel would cater to our needs best. Hotel Ritual exceeded our expectations. Hotel was modern and tasteful. General areas were clean. IMPORTANT NOTE: this Hotel is welcoming to to all but we did notice some straight couples were not expecting it to be a 'Gay' Hotel. Staff in the hotel were very attentive and friendly and made the experience so much better. ROOM: we had a double room with large bed comfortable bed. Flat screen TV we didn't use. WiFi in the room. Kitchenette with fridge (no dishes or cutlery). Plenty of plugs for charging. Dressing area. Room also had link door to adjoining room. Safe was included in the room. Iron could be borrowed for a few hours at a time and secured from reception for 10€ deposit (returned) We were ground floor with direct access to the pool. Table and 2 plastic chairs for our personal use. Room was cleaned and made up every day with fresh towels and bedding. Bathroom was good size with walk in shower. POOL: opened earlier than we got up. Music played from 11am every day. Pool has sun early until after 6pm. Beds are limited but we always managed to secure one each. Pool also had cool jacuzzi area. Some Saturdays hotel hosts a LGBT pool parties so get there early for a bed. Can be some cruising by the pool . Pics show large padded beds near jacuzzi these have to be booked for a fee. INFINITY POOL (Roof): we didn't use the roof pool. It is exclusively for nude bathing until 7pm. 7pm-8pm is clothing optional but expect it it to be all male and most still nude. FOOD: we didn't prebook food. However if we were booking again we would book half board. We paid for breakfast buffet on the first day. (15€ each) food quality was good with good selection. Lunch (20€ each) & Dinner (20€ each). Pool bar: only drinks consumed at pool must be purchased from pool bar Inc soft drinks. (Exception of water). Cocktails 10€ were a bit overpriced. GYM: enough equipment to do a quick workout before heading out or to the pool. Serious gym goers will struggle, free weights go to 15kg and a rickety multigym machine. We noticed a few local gyms walking distance from hotel for those that need more serious gym time. SPA available for 5€ but we didn't use. Beach access: hotel has private access to beach via an elevator. Key can be secured at reception with 10€ deposit. We worth it as walk otherwise is steep steps. Check out - hotel offers luggage room showers and changing facilities after check out.…
This was our first time in Torremolinos, the hotel is in a great position only a 5 minute walk to the local gay bars. We were originally on the 6th floor but the wait for the lift was getting us down. We aspire reception if we can swap rooms which we did and moved to the ground floor which was perfect. The cost was €25 to change. Overall the staff were friendly their English wasn’t great but neither is my Spanish! We were full board, breakfast was great with lots of choice. Lunch was ok sometimes a set menu or a buffet other days. Big shout out to Maria the waitress she was sooo lovely, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Overall a good hotel.
When we went it was closed for a staff function for two days so we had to stay at their sister hotel. Was a bit of living out of a suitcase for the first part of the holiday. But looking at the rowdy coach load leaving I bet the staff could not wait to get its usual quiet holiday makers back. The hotel itself has mostly large seaview rooms, that also overlook the pool. However, it was a very quiet hotel so no noise issues. They also have a few street view room. Nice to see the local life and not just men in budgy snuggles however, again in a quiet neighborhood so no real noise issues either. Friendly staff making you feel right at home. Nice mix of ages however, mostly mature quiet loving just on holiday to chill. Get a key from reception for the lift to the beach and you're there in less than 5 mins. However. If you want your daily exercise you can use the multiple sets of stairs some are steep so will get your cardio workout going up. Close to all the relevant bars and clubs for all your drinking and dancing needs. Second time going and booked again for this autumn. …
My husband and i stayed at this hotel for a week in May 2022. We were aware that it was a hotel catering mainly for gay men, which was not a problem as we have stayed in such hotels before, the thing we did not like was the fact that nude sunbathing was allowed around the main outdoor pool area. We were told this was because the usual roof top pool area was closed for some repair work to be carried out. My husband and myself found the nudity quite uncomfortable,so we went to the beach most days which was an additional cost. We booked half board and the breakfast was okay. The evening meal on the other hand was not up to the usual standard with the hot food being mostly cold and not very nice plus coupled with the fact that dinner was not served until 8pm anyway we found ourselves eating out at extra cost to us .Overall the hotel was very clean and the staff very very helpful & could not have wished for a better location but if we had been made aware in the first place about the nudity around the main pool and the meagre food that we were offered we would more than likely have changed our hotel…
