This is a cheap hotel so it comes with low expectations. The best part of this hotel is the location and friendly staff. The rooms and amenities are also comfortably clean. I did have a small problem with the lack of sound isolation, you can easily hear other rooms, and the lack of privacy in your own room is therefore compromised.
Stayed at the Malaga Inn in July 20, initially was for one week , but I kept changing my plans , and stayed for 15 days , the staff were excellent in accommodating my needs , I changed rooms twice and it was not an issue. The rooms are perfect clean , and the shared bathroom are well kept . Perfect for a quite stay away from the hustle of the big “dinner at 5” hotels on the front of Terrimilonos. All staff are very good . Adrian
We booked this accommodation through Expedia which did not make clear this is a hostel 1 star, shared facilities with a long list of rules & regulations displayed in Spanish. The free WIFI was intermittent at best with weak security. The very basic ‘kitchen is a basement room with no natural light which doubles as a breakfast room & you are expected to wash & dry your own dishes after breakfast - this is definitely not worth getting up for! This turned out to be a thoroughly unpleasant experience, in our case a very embarrassing & upsetting one as staff tried to charge us an extra 10 Euros per person for our daughters who were not staying (as flying home) to set foot in the place. I would not recommend under any circumstances ☹️ in fact I would steer clear at all costs.
We've been staying there for 7 days and despite the bad weather of Torremolinos i can truly say it was a good trip. We booked a small double room but got the bigger one so it was a nice surprise at the beggining. + amazing, really helpfull staff working there + good location, pretty close to public transport, supermarkets, bars etc + price + you have a breakfast included + while booking online you can pay by cash, helpful when you don't own a credit card - no heating system (nights over the season can be pretty cold) - creaky bed (standard of this place is not awesome but you can see they're renovating so that's good, also the price is pretty low so you can't expect too much)
I only stayed two nights, but I booked a twin room for single use, and it was clean and the bed was a comfortable double bed. Lots of hot water. About five minutes walk from the very centre. I would recommend to travellers on a budget.
Wifi not working at all. Kitchen is a joke, hardly any plates and cutlery. Breakfast...better go to a cafe. Beds are uncomfortable and way too soft, if you sleep on the upper bed it bends like crazy so you'll have 100% a backache in the morning. Bathroom is not very clean. Receptionist was very nice but still too my mind it doesn't fulfill the very basic necessities of a hostel (good bed and wifi).
Excellent hostel, staff are very friendly and helpful. There’s a kitchen, with courtesy coffee and snacks, which is great. Great location, very close to beach and town centre and other amenities. The entire place is kept Clean and secure. I Recommend staying here
Upon arrival the room stank of cigarette smoke, went straight back to reception was told there was no other room to change and maybe the smoke came from the bar next door up through the 2nd floor window, no chance, this room was smoked in often but clearly reception thought I was stupid. Bathrooms (both) disgusting, less than basic, broken shower head, water or some fluid all over the floor, toilet doesnt flush. Most rooms seems to be occupied by migrants. No consideration for the noise they make, screaming, shouting, banging doors, drinking, smoking, all through the night until 5am. Impossible to get any sleep. Sadly I had paid for 4 nights ( booking.com), partly based on previous reviews, my expectations werent that high and they certainly were not met. After this first night I had to leave. I have no idea how they can still operate as a hostel, I guess the local Junta pay them quite well to house these migrants. If you are expecting basic first world conditions and considerations I suspect you will be disappointed. My advice is dont waste your money like I did booking more than 1 night, if you are brave enough to book at all. There is far better, cleaner, safer accomodation available in more convenient locations, dont waste any money at this establishment. …
Me and my daughter arrived at the malaga inn on the 6th September for four days. The room was clean and welcoming , the showers were shared and of excellent standard . On the top floor of the malaga inn was a terrace with a lovely space to sit out and have a tea or coffee.Next door to the the malaga inn was a nice little bar which we used almost every night (beer and tapas),very spainish in this area .plenty of little bars and fresh bread shops, really enjoyed this part of town.manja was a perfect host, she told me she had recently taken over the malaga inn, well done to and your wonderfull staff( special mention to Michelle ) highly recommend this lovely little Inn.
I have been there for 10 days the girls are so nice and not just with me! Very helpful I have learnt that is new management a very nice lady is running the place I guess the older comments were for other owner because i see a lot of cleaning and maintenance going on yes is basic but he comes slightly cheaper than the Warldorf Astoria or the Ritz! Expect some noise at time remember this is a very popular holidays resort not a sanctuary! Is do nice here people are so lovely and friendly
