This really good two star hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk from Torremolinos train station and 80 metres from the Calle San Miguel. Very central in Torremolinos. They appear to have about 5 friendly guys who work on the 24 hour reception. My room number 306 was of a good size, a functional bathroom, large balcony, TV, free wifi and the twin beds were comfortable. daily room service and if one requires a small refrigerator it costs around 3- 4 euros a day payable at the reception. I highly recommend this hotel and I understand they will be staying open during this Covid virus.
We stayed at this hotel for 1 evening knowing it was a basic hotel, however, I've stayed in basic hotels many times and all I expect is a clean room. This room had a new looking air-conditioning unit but never blew any air around just made a noise. Towels were threadbare, sink was cracked, enamel chipped away from the bath and to finish it off the shower holder on the wall was too high, it had already been lowered once as previous holes were present. I've attached photos of the bathroom. DON'T STAY IN ROOM 404...Just don't stay here at all. Needless to say I won't be returning.
Whilst this is a basic hostel the NCH is in a great position in the middle of Torremolinos. It is clean and the staff are friendly. McJamon is underneath and is great for a breakfast or a evening drink. There are also lots of bars in the square. Torremolinos is not as people imagine. It is very Spanish so you may be hard pushed to get an English breakfast. All in all a lovely overnight stay.
We stayed here for three nights and have no complaints whatsoever. Check in was quick and the room we had was ideal. Spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. The bathroom was great with plenty of towels and a lovely hot shower. Yes their was some street noise fro the bar/restaurant below and if you want a early night take earplugs. The noise stops just after midnight then it is very quiet for the rest of the night. The hotel was a little tricky to find but it is less than five minutes to the train station so ideal for exploring and getting to and from the airport. We wanted cheap, clean and well located and we got all three. We would certainly stay again.
I spent 3 nights here for work in March. The hotel is well placed for access to Torremolinos , the beach, shops and transport. Rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom was tidy and clean too. I have no complaints.
