Hotel reception, although they took their time they were very thorough giving all information required. Booked a kettle (foc) and by the time we got to our room house keeping had dropped it off. Room very clean and comfortable lovely balcony with sea views. Bathroom door was jamming so reported at reception and once again sorted immediately. Staff very polite and helpful. All facilities very good and kept very clean. Food on par with most buffet providing hotels and very adequate with plenty to choose from.
We chose this hotel based on one of our family members staying here many times over the years and recommending it for our holiday. I was abit unsure after reading previous review but it turned out to be FANTASTIC! I booked the package through Jet2 and went All Inclusive as our party group included 2 Children (aged 5 and 1), and we had planned to stay at the hotel throughout the trip (although we ventured our a few nights as there is loads going on). Positives 1. Pools – therr are kids pools and the main big pools. For the size of the hotel, I thought the pools easily accommodated the number of people staying here. The kids pool was quieter and the splash park was nice too 2. All Inclusive drinks were great. Branded drinks such as Bacardi, Jameson and Smirnoff included as well as Gordon's Gin. Draught Beer was ok but no real issue. 3. Food options I found were very good for Breakfast and Lunch. Breakfast included cereals, bacon, egg, sausage, fresh omelettes and pancakes as well as the usual continental breakfast options. Lunch similar to Dinner was good too, with hot show cooking for meats, then other food options as well as a kids corner. They also made fresh pizza for our table which was very nice. We did eat out twice (many beach restaurants are walking distance). Also there is a snack bar open from 1pm to around 6pm which did toasties, burgers, hot dogs, then cakes and coffee/tea 4. We had a Family Suite and it was perfect! Two separate bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with a balcony overlooking the main pool. 5. Entertainment for Kids was great. Mini disco every night from 9.30pm and then a show from 10pm until 11pm. My son really enjoyed the disco and then the Lion King Show. 6. Pool entertainment was also great, from aqua gym to pool party/dancing 7. Kids Arcade / Go Karts were great way to keep kids entertained too 8. Location is bang on. Right opposite the beach, and a short walk away from all the main shops, supermarkets, etc. 9. Cleanliness was 10/10. Our room was cleaned every day at around 10am as we left for breakfast. I also noticed they cleaned the pool area and the pool itself every morning. 10. Hotel staff were also very helpful, our checking was very quick (although on some days I noticed long queues), and checkout was quick too. Negatives Not really many negatives but maybe small picky things I could draw upon were: 1. Pool Towels were 10eur deposit each but as long as you returned you got money back 2. You have to give 50eur for the safe as deposit (again refundable) 3. Kettle was 6EUR a night, so 35EUR in total for me, and it was needed due to travelling with a baby. I thought this should not have been a charged service, but it should be deposit and returned similar to the Pool Towel/Room Safe scenario 4. Cups for drinks were paper style but then we had plastics too and I preferred the plastics as the paper style ones just got soggy 5. Room key/Card kept wiping clean if it was near a mobile which was a pain! Meant getting one made every other day! Other than that, I would definitely return to the hotel! If this is how they were operating during the covid period, I think it would be more or less faultless in normal times! I also loved the fact you could just get a drink before you left the hotel via the Beach exit, which allowed us to get a drink ready to walk with! If you are looking for a family hotel with things to do nearby, I would certainly recommend this hotel! Kids loved the pool and even though they state the pool closes at 7pm, people were in there long after that time. For a 4 star hotel, I would say its more 4.5 to be honest!…
Currretly staying at the hotel and after paying £3k for 5 nights I’m appalled at how bad the service is. Queue for 25 minutes to get a drink by the pool. Food served cold. Not enough Bain beds - people are using chairs around the pool. If you are not fussy it’s fine but I would def not recommend. V disappointing
So upon arrival .. check in time they have 6 desks for check in only three open too 45 mins to get to the desk. I was told because my room was xtra I would have full use of flip flops beach towels and the mini fridge could be consumed and refilled if I asked before 12 the following day. I'm only here for one night. It would be nice to have some drinks to take to airport or for the rest of the day and when I asked at 7am one man said sure no problem. Another man said no you check out no more drinks . So conflicting information had I known that I would have saved some drinks from the day before. The room was lovely ... But I would not call it a lateral sea view at all. Side sea view maybe . So Dave yourself the extra cash . Dinner wasn't much to write home about I found the buffet lacked veggie options and all in all wasn't very tasty food. Breakfast was much better . The beach is lovely outside make sure you visit the beach and take a stroll along the promenade lovely restaurants and bars . I asked for late check out (happy to pay ) before I checked in they said on the phone no problem they said on arrival no , so now I have to sit around with. 7 yr old for 4 hours before we head to the airport . Also quick note .. download Uber if you haven't already see if rpu can find a new rider code online you may get a free ride . Airport sorted . They don't offer a shuttle Ans they claim a taxi is €20 when it's only 10 on Uber . Pool claims to only open at 10.30 (the big pool) but gates open for you to put your tow on. Sunbed before 9 as trust me I hate this saving a sunbed nonsense but if you don't you won't get one. They should enforce a no body no save rule as far as I'm concerned.…
Right … I’ve gotten to the point of being so annoyed with the complaints I’m hearing (one couple sat right next to me by the pool complaining about the all inclusive when they ain’t even AL!!) This hotel is beautiful, it’s super clean, lovely pools, lovely staff (see so many complaints about rude staff- this must of been a one off as everyone has been so nice!). The rooms are lovely, big bathroom, good shower, huge tv on the wall. I see someone’s comment above about the key card stopping working, this has happened to us too a few times however as annoying it is, is it really worth a complaint? NO! The food is repetitive yes, however there’s so much choice so just mix it up a bit and get off your high horse FFS. I would 1000000% come back here, the location is a bit out of the way as we walked to Benalmadena twice to have a bit more of an atmosphere, so the only thing (and I mean the ONLY THING) that would stop me coming back is the location!! Kids club for my 8 year old has been amazing - they are so lovely to her and she’s loved every minute. The evening entertainment is “okay”, we like things a bit more lively but that doesn’t mean the entertainment is bad, not at all. Check out is 12pm which I think is fab, and all inclusive drinks is until 12am!!! People who complain about this hotel drive me mad as there is NO reason to complain. They are finding tiny issues and making them huge deals. Get a grip! Book this hotel as it’s beautiful and you’ll have a lovely time xx The Welsh family ❤️…
