Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This is a great hotel for couples looking for luxury in a slightly quieter location. The rooms have amazing views and the breakfast is good. You can park right outside and there are numerous restaurants nearby. We’ve been here twice and will return. Great value for money in a fabulous location.

We’re currently staying at The Isabel - this is our 4th night of a 5 night stay. We have been so pleased with our choice!!! The hotel is clean, very well presented and is in a fabulous location. You’re right across the road from the beach and have bars, restaurants and chiringuitos all around. We’re here at the end of October and while the hotel is quiet, it still retains its charm and high standards. Comfortable beds, good sized, very clean room, great water pressure in the shower, tea and coffee making facilities, and a fab balcony that we’ve sat out every evening drinking wine and eating nibbles! The staff have been friendly, super efficient and very kind. There’s a fab supermarket (Mercadona) a minute’s walk away and it took us only 20 minutes to walk here (downhill all the way!) from the train station after catching the train straight from the Airport. So simple and inexpensive to get here - another bonus! Theres a lovely little bar/food area downstairs that’s open until 11pm serving drinks and food and we’ve sat here every evening

This was our second stay at Hotel Isabel, having previously had a week there 2 years ago. We were pleased to find that nothing had really changed, and it was as good a week as anyone could realistically expect to have. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean and has a nice ambience. All the staff are so friendly and hard working, always happy to go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is as it should be. The breakfasts are excellent, too - both in terms of variety on offer and the quality. One of the best things about the hotel is its location, with it being right in front of the excellent beach. The pool and sunbed area aren't huge, but that's simply down to the size of the hotel site. It does mean that there aren't that many sunbeds, but we never had a problem finding one if they were wanted. Would we go back again? Most definitely!

We stayed here for a week on bed and breakfast basis and this was our first visit to Torremolinos. We arrived at 11 am and were pleasantly surprised as our room was made up and ready so we could shower and unpack leaving us the afternoon and evening to enjoy. The room is average size, very clean with nice bathroom and shower cubicle. We had a side sea view with ample size balcony. In fact every room in he hotel has sea views. Tea and coffee facilities in room with a mini bar fridge that we were allowed to use as our own fridge. Breakfast was very plentiful with fresh fruits, fried breakfast, meats, cheeses, cereals and pastries. There was always plenty of everything and tables available. The friendly staff were very helpful in the hotel when needed and our maid was absolutely wonderful..... so happy and polite. The pool was small but adequate and plenty of sunbeds with a poolside bar. I was disappointed that guests were able to out their towels on premium located sunbeds next to the pool and then disappear for hours....... but there were always sunbeds available so not a problem really..... just a few selfish guests. If you want a boozy holiday with loud music or somewhere for your kids to run around then avoid this hotel. This is a lovely peaceful hotel where if that's what you are looking for you'll love it.

Great hotel, clean, friendly, and sun beds available. Only had lunch at the hotel which was delicious. We found the hotel great value and the service around the pool was 5 star. Rooms small but had everything you need. Mini bar items are 2.5 euros and felt the price was fair. Beer and wine is 3 euros each and lunch menu is fairly priced. Hotel is in a great location and has bars and restaurants on the door step. I would be happy to stay here again.

This hotel is located in the best possible part of TORREMOLINOS, and is the cleanest hotel in Spain I have ever seen and I have been in hundreds of hotels around Spain 🇪🇸. Food at breakfast although there is not huge choice is still very high quality and the hygiene of the breakfast chef is unquestionable as he is spotless and so as his kitchen. The girl that cleans the tables is also very hard working staff member as she never stops working or smile although she never come to my table to clear some empty plates or glassware but she was very attentive to the rest of the guests. Furthermore housekeepers and a the swimming pool attendant have made this hotel very clean and welcoming. Unfortunately, the male receptionist working on the 20th of September is extremely rude by body and verbal language and I believe such rude people should not be employed in such jobs. I therms of price we payed around 300€ per room per night with breakfast and I believe this price is little bit overpriced as the rooms are not big and furniture is outdated and definitely rooms furniture need changed. I will definitely go back but only if that receptionist is not there…

Perfect hotel in every way.. we had room 305 which had an amazing sea view...absolutely worth paying extra for! The rooms are a decent size..balcony isnt huge but there is 2 chairs and a table which was fine. Air con was a delight, easy to use. The shower was just the best. The beds were hard and the pillows but we got used to them ! The cleaning staff are amazing..always left clean towels and the room looking spotless every day. Breakfast was lovely..always something for everyone. Met some lovely people too that had stayed numerous times before which I can understand why! There was always enough sunbeds just not enough parasols 4 them all.the pool is lovely and deep and very refreshing! We would definitely stay here again no question...just a lovely place to have a relaxing holiday!

This was our second visit to Hotel Isabel and was just as good, if not better than the first. We had a superior family room which was really spacious for just the two of us. People have mentioned the rooms being dated and whilst the decor may be a little dated, it is of a really high quality and the rooms are very comfortable. They are cleaned to a very high standard each day. We had a mini fridge to keep drinks cool and a free safe in the wardrobe. I love that the Isabel is a small hotel, so never crowded and not many children, which suits us. We had breakfast each morning and the selection and quality were really good. There is a small snack bar by the pool area for drinks etc during the day. I went down for breakfast about 8am each morning and spent the whole day with my Kindle, on a sunbed, with regular dips in the pool(towels from reception), whilst my husband spent the mornings up in the town after breakfast. Just what we like to do on a 4 day break and the hotel Isabel is perfect for this. Can't wait to come back! Thank you to all the wonderful staff!

This was my second stay at Hotel Isabel & again it was absolutely fabulous. I cannot fault this hotel in anyway whatsoever. I stayed with my sister & when we arrived we were placed in one of the deluxe rooms (601) on the top floor and all i can say is WOW. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. It is literally a dozen steps to the beach. We are planning to go back again in September. Love this place.
