Stayed for 12 nights with friends recently at Don Pedro. The hotel it lovely set in a safe complex off the main road so very quiet at night. The standard of hygiene is excellent all through the hotel, staff helpful and friendly. The grounds are well kept with beautiful plants. Pool areas are safe and clean with life guards always in attendance. We stayed half board, the buffet breakfast was very good lots of choice something for everyone. It can be eaten inside the large dining area or outside. I was unfortunately not impressed with the evening buffet, i realise it is difficult to please everyone however the standard of food on the hot buffet left a lot to be desired, vegetables stone cold one evening. I ate the fish and salad most evenings. I would stay at the hotel again as my room was comfortable with lovely pool view which got the evening sun. However I would only stay bed and breakfast.…
Just had 5 days all inclusive at Don Pedro. I would say it’s probably the best all round holiday hotel and complex that we have stayed at. Very good value. Family room was great with 2 separate rooms and it had two bathrooms. Lots of pools, bars and lounge areas. Huge amount of sun beds and seating area around bars. It’s also good that regardless of which of the 3 hotels you book into, you can use all of the amenities at the whole complex. Already looking at booking for next year.
Rooms are cramped when two people are sharing. Our room was located next to the lifts so it was noisy, even though I requested a quiet room when booking. We asked to be moved the following day and they were able to arrange. Location of hotel is good.
Just had a lovely weeks stay , great hotel right on the sea front. Stayed all inclusive as we wanted a week of relaxation , great that you can use any of the facilities of the other hotels on this small complex, we spent most of our time at the beach bar area , plenty of beds overlooking the sea. Good choice of food to cater for all tastes , would definatly visit again . Thanks for a lovely stay . No complaints at all.
Lovely spot right on the front. Facilities kept spotless and rooms made up everyday can't praise the staff highly enough. We stayed on bed and breakfast basis and were impressed with the choice of food on offer. Breakfast was from 0730 to 1030. We were om the 6th floor overlooking the outside main bar entertainment space and pools with a sea side view, if I was coming back I would try and get a room on the West facing side which got the sun most of the day and into the evening in Nov. Overall very pleased with the hotel and location and would return.
Stayed here for a week on a Mercury Holiday package, we had a lovely sunny sea view room on the 9th floor. The room was spacious with a comfy bed, large walk in shower, nice towels and linen, useful fridge,tv with UK channels small table and sofa too. The balcony had a couple of chairs and table. Plenty of storage, a safe (hire for €14 a week).Room cleaned on request. The public areas of the hotel are spacious with large bars inside and out, plenty of seating areas and places to relax. There are 3 pools we never had a problem getting a lounger even going mid afternoon, there are pool towels, a gym and an indoor pool. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice of cooked, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, fresh bread and pastries, yoghurt, cereal served buffet style. Plenty of hand sanitizer stations, and all very clean, masks needed around the hotel, staff helpful when needed Only downside lifts slow but we were on 9th floor. Great location on the sea front with plenty of shops, bars and good restaurants nearby, and an uphill stroll to town or use the lift! 50 cent a go. Torremolinos town has a great selection of shops, bars, restaurants with trains and buses available to explore further afield.…
Because the management closed part of the hotel down we ended up in place wiith no reception, no entertainment (bar) and pool and eventually the airconditioning was shut down. After going to the manager we had to move to Don Pablo. That's not what you want during your holiday.
It is in fact a 3 in1 hotel as you can enjoy the facilities of all three hotels(Sol don Pedro, Sol don Pablo and Sol don Marco). The resort offers evening and kids entertainment, great food variety at breakfast and dinner. It has perfect location on the costal lane near beach bars and restaurants and a nice 10-15-minute walk to the centre of Torremolinos where you can get the train to Malaga and other costal towns such as Benalmadena, Fuengirola and others for some cultural or shopping visits.
Never again it took 40 minutes queuing to check in huge que of people waiting to check in but only 2 members of staff on desk and so hot inside . I have stayed in sol Don Pablo in 2019 and it was the same they need more staff working or a system of quicker check in as it just puts a damper on the experience
The location of this holiday complex is excellent the main beach is just across the road and there are multiple pools on site. Entertainment most nights and with 3 hotels on site plenty of bars or restaurants to choose from.
