Booked a last min break for 4 nights with Jet 2 and was not disappointed. The hotel is really nice, clean and spacious room. Nice view even from 1st floor. Bed was comfy, good pillows, bathroom good size and shower very good. Breakfast has a really good selection, we loved the freshly made omelettes and enjoyed watching them being made as much as eating them, the lady on the station multi tasks so many different items it's great to watch. We booked B&B but ended up upgrading to half board for ease of evening dining and again found a good food selection. Only slight negative is that into town in up a lot of steps or a hill, but this is common if your on the seafront.

Hotel's Favourite
Excellent Hotel with all the amenities you could ask for. We have just returned from Torremolinos and our 11 night stay at the Don Pablo. We really enjoyed our time there and the Staff and Room Service were top class. The hotel entrance is from Calle del Bajondillo and our coach transfer dropped us off and picked us up from this entrance (bus pull- in is right outside hotel). We arrived around 13:00 and were early so as our room wasn't ready, we put our cases in a nearby storage room, had a walk around until roughly 14:30 and checked in then. We were in room 1202 which has a wrap around balcony offering superb sea views and a view over the swimming pools. We could also see the entertainment stage and the seating deck which was located above the dining hall. We went for half board and have no complaints about the food quality of either breakfast or evening meal. However, be aware this dining hall is large and there are no "overheads" to guide you and the food description notices were on the small side. We saw quite a few people picking the notices up to enable them to be read. You can either take the stairs or lift down to the beach level where there is an exit down beside the All Blacks pub onto the roadside. Cross the road and you are on the promenade which has separate pedestrian and cycle lanes. The beach is right in front of you ! There are shops under the hotel pool/sun lounger areas and you can get your "room supplies" there. This is our second visit to Torremolinos and we like the 30-40 minute transit time from the airport plus the good public transport in and around the town. Torremolinos Train station has recently has an 8 million euro upgrade and you can get down to Fuengirola or up to Malaga very easily and cheaply. We bought 10-journey tickets which give a large discounted travel option but be aware for some reason you need your passport in order to purchase this multi journey ticket, I've no idea why ! We will certainly return to Torremolinos and the Don Pablo is firm favourite to get our custom.

We decided to return here after quite a few years, a previous disappointing stay had prevented us from booking in recent years. We had one night to spend in Torremolinos and booked a room to check if there had been any improvement. Wow we were overwhelmed by the change!! The hotel complex has been beautifully refurbished offering comfortable upgraded rooms but best of all is the improvement in the food. We loved our stay and will return soon!! Thanks to all the lovely staff, well done!!!

Hotel lobby and bar area is nice enough, food is average but nice enough for the volume they must have to prepare. Beds and pillows are basic, and nowhere near 4* quality, you get better at Travel Lodge. Staff are all lovely. I must make a special mention of the ‘alcoholic drinks’…. When will hotels stop this awful practice of watering down spirits? I took a sip of my ‘neat’ Tequila and it was very obviously watered down, I thought I’d try Disarrono (because surely they wouldn’t water down a named drink would they?) well, that was very clearly watered down too. Each sip there after was completely and utterly depressing, did they charge less for these watered down drinks though? Of course not….. Thus ruining what would have been a nice winter break. Thumbs down.

Great hotel, lovely staff and everything you need under one roof. From the many pools to the seating places you felt like an explorer finding exciting little spots there is plenary of variety you can go from the beautiful decor of pablo to the antique charm of marco this complex is suited for everyone. We came in November when it was quieter and could easily walk into town or to the marina. The food in the buffet is excellent and there is always something that you will like. We where full board so 3 meals where included to buy two cokes with dinner it was about €7. The kids club was closed but we where on a couple only holiday but we did scope it out and am looking to bring the kids next year (just earlier in the season). All in all I would recommend here for all ages and am looking forward to the next visit.

Don pablo. We stayed bed and breakfast but upgraded by day 3 to half board for roughly £108, which was a bargain. A lovely hotel, situated in the quiet town of Torremolinos. Beach facing, plenty of pools, sun beds. Bars are good, serving decent spirits and beers using not only local but international brands. Soft drinks are slightly over priced but you can always pop the shop for a drink. There are shops along the front and one outside the entrance to the hotel. Check in was ok, Room wasn't ready so used the luggage store and had a look around. The hotel itself is massive and there are 3 hotels in total on the resort to which you can use all their pools, dining, entertainment etc. Indoor pool was open for us which was lovely. Not always warm as stated but better than nothing. Staff are friendly and always say good morning and hello. Breakfast is good, plenty of choice and a superb gluten free section specifically for those with an intolerance or are coeliac. Dinner is good, can get busy, plenty of choice and always plenty of food being re stocked. Again a separate gluten free menu cooked separately. You have to ask for the GF menu on arrival to the restaurant. Dining area does need a deep clean in areas, we sat by the food waste bay and there were fruit flies galore, on the walls and tables, not the best so I advise not sitting by those. Dinner drinks are reasonably priced also. Bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Comfortable pillows and mattress. Air con is as standard. Areas of the bedroom could do with a touch up and the shower room too. But overall comfortable and clean. Benelmadena is about 10 mins away in a taxi for roughly 11 euros, we used uber, you do need to provide a passport number to travel. Very busy lots of street vendors haggling you to buy fake products. I recommend the sea life centre, lovely little break away from the sun. There is also an English bar/ restaurant on the marina also along with plenty of others and some lovely shops. Torremolinos is beautiful, I recommend going to la favorita, they do a separate gluten free menu and the food is amazing. Walk up the windy cobbled streets to make it to San Miguel past some lovely shops on the way, once you get to the top there are more market stalls, cafes and the town to explore but the walk is beautiful. It would be 5 stars If it had a little spruce up and a bit more day time entertainment. Overall a lovely honeymoon we had, we will be back for another visit.

On the whole, we enjoyed our stay and the hotel met our expectations for the standard of hotel and price paid. It is a big hotel, so has good facilities but does mean that at peak times there are a lot of guests. Good stuff: - Location, including proximity to beach, Torremolinos centre and Malaga airport. - Lots of pools (between the three connected hotels), including an indoor pool - Cleanliness and style of hotel (to standard you'd expect for a 4* hotel) - Ability to cater for the large number of people the hotel(s) accommodate - Staff - absolutely no complaints in this regard based on those we came across - Food - for what you expect of a hotel like this and of this scale, food range and quality was decent and better than you often find in hotel buffets - Pool towels - the hotel offers you free towels to use during your stay - for pool, beach etc (see the 'but' below!...) Not so good - all fairly minor, but worth prospective guests being aware: - We went half-board, which on the whole worked well. However, we were disappointed to find that drinks had to be paid for (at lunch or dinner). If I'm paying half board, I'd expect drinks to be included. Suffice to say the drinks are not cheap and there isn't a huge range. - Pool towels ...but what wasn't clear was that you need to keep those same towels throughout your stay and if you exchange them it costs a euro per towel. Not a big deal, just wasn't what we'd expected upfront. - Pool temperatures - admittedly we went in late Oct, but all outdoor pools were cold. Uncomfortably cold. Swimming no more than 10mins cold. I expect this is fairly typical and I'm sure it's more bearable in mid-summer. But worth being aware of. Family room - the room itself was big enough for the four of us and general storage was fine, but there was minimal drying space for towels, swimwear etc, only two glasses supplied. We also discovered the window in our room (on the 9th floor) could be opened wide, with no protection from a big old drop!

Dear dangerousjon, first of all we would like to thank you for choosing us and for taking the time to write us a review. We are pleased to know that you felt comfortable in our house. We would like to comment that as you have said, our hotel offers free beach towels to our guests but we have marked the price of 1 euro for each change of towels to create awareness in our customers and contribute to sustainability. On the other hand we would like to comment that the windows of our family rooms on the 9th floor do have a security stopper and are only opened upon official request of the guests and having signed a document of prior consent. We look forward to welcoming you back to our home. Best regards, Annie Cedeño. Guest Experience Department

We stayed at Don Pablo (Milia) and had a wonderful time, it was really clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a 2 meal daily plan and the food was amazing. The pools were great with lots of lounge chairs. There was my Husband and I along with our friends another couple. We walked and shopped on the promenade and swam in the sea which was a 2 minute walk away. We did a tour of the Caminito del Ray trail which was so amazing and beautiful. We also did a tour to Gibraltar and had a great time. We enjoyed everything so much we are going back again in 2024 for our 50th anniversary.
