Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were emailed a code number to enter building but on arrival there was no key pad . Gentleman let us in to a shop front in busy tiny street. Photos I looked at on booking had sea views. The studio apartment was equipped for disabled person which i never requested. Couldn't open windows because constant people outside in bars and restaurants. Street cleaner outside door at 3am. Market stall outside front door couldn't get in without having to move stall. €688 for a week, definitely wouldn't recommend even if disabled noise all night.

It took me about 9 months to choose which hotel for this trip and I chose here. Fantastic location right on the beach and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Great communication with the owner and the cleaners were very helpful. Our apartment could not have been better - it is a bit of a strange set up and maybe needs a little bit of work - it was just like home to us. My wife and I are already trying to figure out when we can come back. Did I mention that it has a great balcony 😍

We were very disappointed in the apartment we were allocated – did not resemble any website photos. We were moved to another apartment which to be honest wasn't much better. This had upstairs and downstairs. On entry the first room had a double bed, small wardrobe and a TV. There was a small bedside table beside the window which we had to drag over to the bed ourselves. No lamps or bedside lights. No seating or dining table whatsoever. The patio doors led to a large terrace with recliners and a plastic table and two chairs, which we brought inside to become our living area. There were some very steep wooden stairs leading down to the rest of the flat (very dangerous for children). Downstairs was one room with 2 single beds on casters with no headboard at the patio door end of the room and a kitchen area which was tiny and no use for any serious cooking (1 pot with no lid and a frying pan). The bathroom had a shower which is a serious health hazard. There was a protruding mixer tap which was difficult to avoid hitting due to the flimsy shower curtain caving in and we scalded ourselves a few times due to the lack of room. There are no mirrors anywhere but the bathroom. There is a space beneath the stairs which clearly hasn't been finished and resembles a building site. I could never recommend these apartments to anyone.
