My husband and I wanted somewhere cheap, close to the airport, but with a bit a charm and this little place ticked all the boxes for us! The gardens are lovely and each room appeared to have its only little terrace with table & chairs. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - there is a small bar and breakfast available for a small charge (great coffee!). I’m surprised at some of the negative comments on this site...what do you expect for less than £50 a night?! It’s advertised as a 1 star hotel/Hostal - it’s not pretending to be anything more. I would highly recommend.
This review is an honest opinion of this hotel, this hotel is a one night stopover hotel.it has no facilities for holidaymakers .if you don't have a car you have to factor in the.price of taxis.the bar coffee facilities don't exist,it is a room with table and chairs and they will get you a can out of the kitchen.food is not available through the the day.my room had 1single socket in it and no English channels on TV.The room door had no bolt on it and needs attention.Good points.Staff and garden.
I read some good reviews about this hostel, and thought I made a good deal. Unfortunatly I did not, this was a terrible place. The wallpaper was falling off, and behind it it was wet / full of mold. Bedsheets had dark stains on them, and the aircondition was making a lot of noise. It was not clean in the room either. There was a couple drinking and smoking on a table right outside our door, when we went to bed. I will NOT reccomend this place to anyone, what a terrible place.
Booked Los Geranios after reading positive reviews - we were not disappointed. Had a late flight so needed somewhere close to the airport with parking for our hire car. Using sat navy it was very easy to find .. about 10 mins drive from Malaga airport.Plenty of 'on street' parking surrounding the hostal when we arrived at 2.00 am so we didn't need to use the hostel car park. Its a residential area so felt the car was safe. Booking in was very quick. The en-suite room simply furnished but very clean and smelled nice. The bed was big and comfy and we had a great nights sleep. Morning coffee from reception was excellent and only cost €1 .. we had brought pastries with us for breakfast and ate out in the lovely garden... a terrific relaxing start to our Andalusia adventure. The family running the hostal were very pleasant - and their toddler was very cute ! We will definitely be using Los Geranious again.…
I thought the rooms looked a bit nicer on the website then in person, ours was very small. But the rooms were spotless and the position easy to walk to the beach. Make sure you advise them you have a car as parking was very tight seemingly enough for only 3 cars.
I wound up at this Hostal, after the hotel I had originally booked, was not available. I loved my entire experience with this hotel. The Agent at the reception was very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was VERY clean, cozy and very quiet. I was glad, that I found that room to be able to have a good night's sleep, after a very long trip coming the States.
This place is really clean, all rooms made up new, dogs are allowed, they have a nice big garden, a 24hr reception, you can buy drinks and coffee.Hotel staff are really helpful and friendly, it is all quiet. Very close to airport.
I booked single room for 1 day. Room has a good size, with private bathroom. Very close to the airport. Nice, green garden, the room was clean, and cozy. Good for a short term stay, although if you need to be close to Malaga it is not a good choice.
This is a big house with different rooms, situated in a big garden. We had a double only for one night, since we had an early morning flight. The room was very clean and nicely done up, nice sitting area in front of each room. Staff were VERY friendly and helpful. It takes you about 10 mins by car to the airport, and you can walk to the beach, 1.5km, about 15-20mins. If you are traveling with a dog, they are very welcome here! Highly recommend it!Also FREE wifi ;)
Whilst staying at a terrible accommodation choice, I passed this establishment whilst on a walk on the second day of the holiday and decided to move here. Well, what can I say!! Just a wonderful, spotless, friendly, professional place which offers so much for the price that you quite can't believe it. I've received better service here than 5 star hotels in London (I used to work for a hotel company). The property looks like a converted Spanish house and feels really authentic Spain. The gardens are beautiful, wifi is really speedy, the service from the staff is so warm, welcoming and kind and the room quality is outstanding. The room was serviced every day with fresh linen and towels, the bed extremely comfortable and anything I asked for was no problem. I'm just so glad to have found this place - it was a Godsend.…
