Poor views, overlooking a conference centre and a car park. Good breakfast, location ok, furniture in room old and needs upgraded. Had to phone reception as only one towel was available on entering the room. Restaurant staff very pleasant but felt the reception staff weren't. Kept awake 2 nights out of 3 by a large group of Irish accented travellers who had at least 5 rooms on the first floor, we were on the second. Staff at no point tried to stop the excessive noise and partying that went on until 03.00/04.00. I would personally rate this hotel 3 star and if visiting Marbella in the future I would look elsewhere.
We went in this hotel because we wanted to enjoy the spa, but the spa was closed. And nobody told us when we arrived that the spa will be closed that day when we are there. And the Jacuzzis outside were cold. So we did not get to go in any jacuzzis OR spa. Plus we didn't have any cleaning all day, even though I specifically ASKED for cleaning. Four-star spa hotel without spa and cleaning... VERY DISAPPOINTED, and definitely will not return. In reception only response to this was "sorry".
My husband and I stayed one night in a junior Suite for our wedding anniversary. The suite was beautiful, with a huge bathtub in the room and lovely views of La Concha mountain. The suite had a big walk in wardrobe and lovely bathroom. The room had a nespresso coffee machine but only decaf capsules although we called reception and they happily brought us some normal capsules. We went out for lunch and when we returned they had left us a bottle of cava on ice and fresh fruits which was a lovely touch. Entrance to the spa is not included in the price but they did offer us 2 for 1 upon check in but we didn’t use the spa facilities as it was. Breakfast was quite small (possibly due to covid restrictions) but everything was lovely. Fresh eggs / palettes upon request and nespresso coffee machines there too which we always appreciate! We’d definitely stay here again, and the suite is well worth the money. There’s another suite which is supposedly better than the junior suite but it was not available when we booked, I’d definitely look to try that next time as the junior suite was so lovely. We walked down to the beach for lunch and had a beautiful lunch and cocktails at Diblu, which we’d also massively recommend as the food was incredible (as we’re the cocktails) and the setting was just perfect.…
As a hotel it is average, it certainly isn’t bad but it is only average at best. The room was always immaculately clean on both entering for the first time and also every day when the cleaners came in. The receptionist was very rude however and I didn’t like him at all. But it was my 3rd visit. At £80-£100 you won’t be disappointed but if you are paying lots of money then I wouldn’t be happy.
I stayed here for 10 night the air conditioning never worked every time and told reception they would send a technician who done nothing except say give it 10 minutes and it will work which it didnt hes in the wrong job anyway this would go on for my entire stay and the lady at reception was rude dismissive and aggressive about me keep telling her it didnt work so on my second last night i Kept ringing reception to tell them it wasnt working after 4 times told to give it 10 minutes and it would work so the next day they offered me a free meal from the bar Wow as I think they accepted they knew the air conditioning in the room didnt work and they knew this from the start. I didnt have the free meal as the breakfast was basic and disgusting so didnt want to try a bar meal maybe i should have done because of the weight i lost sweating in my room, STAY AWAY from this hotel it is awful with very rude staff.…
