I am awake its 6.30am and I've hardly been able to sleep because of the noise from a room party near my room. It's been going on all night. I mentioned it to the receptionist and he did nothing. Clearly breaking all Covid rules too in that room. I'm in room number 111 and the party is going on in room numbers 101, I think or near that room. Not happy!!! Party Hotel for teenagers in room. Hotel did nothing to stop it!! Avoid
Like any hotel this has good and bad points. There was always someone on reception but depending on when you arrive there are dedicated rooms for the reception of the boutique part and the other part. Massive beautiful clean hotel in a perfect location. We even got a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony which we weren’t expecting, it was a nice surprise. The room was clean, there’s a small kitchen area, lots of English channels on the tv. The bath looked a bit dirty but I think it’s just because it’s old. Everything else I couldn’t fault. Down side, there is nothing open no where to get a drink or food apart from a vending machine. The pool was only open 12-6, there’s a swim up bar but again that wasn’t open either. I would return though.
This Hotel is like a ghost Hotel from a Horror movie. Everything is so old and the whole place is empty. Nothing is working. When we arrived there was no one at the Reception. So we waited and waited... Then we went to our room and it was like fron the 1950. The aircondition was not working so we called at te Reception. After 10 minutes came one old spanish guy who didn't speak english. We tried to explain what was the problem but he didn't understood a single word. It was freezing. Anyway we want to the pool and it was tragedy. Old sundbeds, no people, no coffee or bar no nothing. It was kind of creepy, good thing we didn't stay there most of the time. We went for a walk and we got back to the hotel at 10 p.m. we went to our beds and the phone started to ring at 11 in the evening. We were like "what the hell?". We picked up the phone and guess who that was. It was the old no english speaking spanish man who was a technik abd a receptionist at the same time. He called to ask for the air condition. We try to explain that it was still cold and he asked if we want to get a shower... hahaha it was ridicilous. Anyways. That was the first and last stay at this place. My advice is "don't go there"!…
Superb apartment complex in fantastic location only 10 mins from Banus. Beautiful room, very clean lovely comfortable bed and lovely balcony over looking the pool. Fantastic friendly and helpful staff on the reception. Only thing I would say is that the beds are tired around the pool, there is no towel service and all of the cafes were closed when we went so no where to get a decent coffee in the morning. However maybe later in the season they may be open. There is a Starbucks opposite and a Lidl next door for supplies :-)
I stayed in room 402 earlier this month. The apartment was lovely and very clean. Fantastic terrace and a roof terrace with hot tub as well. Overall a great place to base yourself with great views. Taxi into Puerto Banus cost 10 euros and was about a 10 minute drive.
My wife and I spent 9 nights in suite 325 , Apartmentos Guadalpin , Marbella . Before our arrival Apartmentos wanted an additional deposit of €200 in addition to a €169 deposit for Booking.com . This involved about 50 emails most of which were unsatisfactory . On our arrival at 23.00 hours as we had already advised by email , the concierge would not allow us into our room . A different gentleman had to be called to let us into our room and he arrived an hour later after midnight to open our room . During our nine day stay the room was never cleaned . No clean sheets and no clean towels were provided in our nine day stay . No Shop . No Bar . No Restaurant in this complex . The building is tired and in need of refurbishment . I swam in the pool a few times and the redundant closed pool bar had rat droppings on the surface of the damaged marble counter top . On the second last day of our stay the door of our room was locked. The concierge would not open it for us and neither would the cleaning staff open our room for us . Instead the gentleman who let us in to our room on our arrival had to be called . We waited for over an hour and he did not arrive . We then left the complex for a few hours and on our return the room was openable . The €200 deposit that was taken from my credit card for some reason could not be refunded back to my credit card . After a further 50 emails the €200 deposit was finally credited to my bank account over three months later on 23 rd December 2016 . We will not be staying in this complex again .…
We didn't get off to the best start on arrival here as the security guard had us all over trying to find out how to get our room key. You will find the office in room 135! The place is like a ghost town but to be fair instead of it been locked up and empty they are trying to make use. My partner wasn't happy with the place at all and didn't feel comfortable there so we spent a lot of our time away from the place. The room was very dated but clean though whatever they use to mop the floor was overpowering and stuck in your throat whenever you stayed in the room. We stayed for three nights though one would have been enough. We were joined in our room by hundreds of ants 🐜. They seemed to be coming from under the bath though on a morning they were everywhere! Next to the hotel is a Lidl, another supermarket and a petrol station. We found a great bar opposite called Boca Seca where the drinks weren't expensive and the food brilliant (try the tapas). …
As returning customers we knew what to expect: a daily cleaned apartment with kitchenette, balcony, floor heating and AC, big bathroom with tub. Great big beds, linen - great staff will fulfil every wish! A Lidl discounter is just around the corner (walking 2mins), Gold Coast beach is ca. 5mins walk through a restricted access area of villas. Free parking in the street outide hotel (might be limited during high season), very friendly guys from a security company manage the lobby (access control) reception! Recommended for those who appreciate luxury but can accept not to have hotel services like restaurants etc.
A former luxury hotel that is now turned into an apartment hotel. Quiet and comfortable hotel because all the restaurants, bars and shops are closed. I liked the calm and can really recommend Guadalpin Boutique if you want to rest and relax. The rooms were outdated but fresh and clean. Wifi worked perfectly. Nice balcony and very good floor heating. The bathroom was very satisfactory. The bed was great. The kitchen was a bit small but furthermore, since I ate out every night so I only used the kitchen to make coffee and heat soup. Had I wanted more pots or pans I am sure the staff would have arranged it for me. Cleaning ladies were nice and cleaned very well. The only thing that was disturbing was, the walls of the rooms that were very thin. You hear your neighbors very well. Also the hotel is right on a big road with lots of traffic. This is problems that Guadalpin Boutique can not do much about. Considering what I paid, I am very pleased and I highly recommend Guadalpin Boutique if you want a holiday with peace and quiet. If you want restaurants, bars and supermarket. Just walk outside the building and you will find them.…
No restaurant but a small kitchen in the appartment. Swimmingpool not open but bathtub in the bathroom and in the terrace there is a bubblebath. Beautiful and luxurious place. Own bathroom in the bedroom and the terrace/balcony is outstanding, really big and sunny in the mornings/daytime. Evenings are a bit chilly this time of year. We arrived 04 so there was no one in the lobby who could speak english and the clerk was helpful but spoke only spanish.
