Building outside of the hotel! Had to drive around for 20 minutes to find out that it was closed roads. No parking available had to walk 1,2km for the “free” parking that the hotel offers. Had to pay 50 Euro deposit aswell as walk all the bags to and from the hotel. Terrible!!
Breakfast is €10 extra. 8am to 10 (10:30 weekends). Orange, apple or pineapple, juice from machine (not fresh juice so just ok). Bananas, apples, mandarins, kiwis, grapes, sliced oranges, pineapple or watermelon. Cucumber, cheese & cold meats (see photos). Cold soft boiled eggs (I prefer hard). The warm food didn't look great. Fried or scrambled egg, bullet sausages & fatty rashers. Nice selection of bread rolls, toast & croissants etc. Nice coffee. Decaf from sachets but nice with hot milk. Selection of cereals. Safety deposit box is not extra anymore (it used to be). 2 single beds are joined together unless you upgrade to the better rooms which have a double bed. Very good shower over 1.6 meter steel bath (10cm shorter than a standard bath but it's fine). Small bathroom but good worktop space at basin (see photo). WiFi is fairly good. Receptionist also attends the small reception bar. Very good central location. Every room has a kitchenette, but I didn't use mine. The sun shines into the pool view rooms in the morning so pool side rooms are hot in the mornings even in April. Street view rooms are the other option. I'm not sure if the street will be noisy because I was only there for the weekend this time and the road was closed (to be open July 2022). Air conditioning isn't very powerful in standard rooms but works well in upgraded rooms. In the standard room I left it running all the time when I was out but I prefer it off when I'm in the room. Nearby grocery stores if you want to buy water or fruit etc. Nice outdoor pool & back patio area (see photo). It is a small pool and is unheated but plenty warm enough for me for swimming in April (as is the sea). It gets the sun until about 4pm in April. If you don't want your bathroom mirror to steam up, turn on the second light attached to the fan and leave the bathroom door open. Nice staff.…
We are just back from a 4 day break in Marbella, the hotel itself is very clean, standard room with plenty of space, what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. The breakfast was good, the pool area was ok the pool itself was small but sufficient. Staff a mix of friendly and moody. The whole experience was spoilt by the roadworks outside the hotel, there isn't even a pavement to walk on, having read previous trip advisor comments i underestimated the effect this would have on our trip. Its dangerous, walking on rubble to get to and from the hotel, taxi's can't get down the road so you have to carry your luggage, the taxi's can't find the hotel to get to it making airport transfers where very difficult. This hotel should not be open, view from our balcony was of a dug up road with large machinery, noise not only from roadworks but you could clearly hear people talking in the next room and guests coming and going all night. The positives its position in relation to the old town was perfect and the housekeeping team are a credit.…
Good location in a nice area. 10 minutes walking from the old town and a few meters to the water. But beware…there is no road and not even a sidewalk right now, so getting to the place is only on foot and carrying your luggage can be problematic. There’s a garage at the back of the hotel which appears convenient, but you have to walk around the entire block and then lift and carry the bags…extremely inconvenient and heavy. If you can avoid for the next month or so, please do so. Other than that…good location, rooms are clean and spacious, and the woman at the front desk was very nice and apologetic (construction isn’t her fault after all).
works start at 6 am very noisy, whole road is dug up oiutside no warnings, very dangerous for kits and older guests, if your reading this please stay elsewere till road is finished you will struggle feel sorry for the shops
An ok 3-star hotel, with everything you should expect. Good breakfast buffet. February 2022 NOTE that due to a major renvation of the underground piping system in the area the roads in the area are closed and the hotel is not accessable by car.
Hotel is in an excellent location. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Just a shame about the rooms, doors and skirting boards falling apart, chipped, marked and stained furniture. Kitchen consists of 2 electric hobs and a fridge. Balcony is dingy with rusty furniture.
Sadly today we leave this fantastic hotel. We have stayed here 4 months waiting on our new home. General manager Carlos had treated us so well. Location is perfect for Marbella. Cleaning staff were always so friendly and attentive. My new wife and our two little dogs have so enjoyed the hospitality. Thanks to all and see you anytime we pass in future.
It is very unfortunate, but I booked a family trip before the COVID pandemic exploded. I did everything through hotels.com and although the others hotels refunded, gave vouchers.. this hotel refused to do anything, knowing that a pandemic literally changed our travel plans. I have written everywhere asking for a refund a voucher and they don't even reply. Shame on you and your staff. Almost 500 euros completely stolen!
This hotel is in a great location in Marbella for everything with a car park underneath for €10 a night. The hotel had a nice pool and outdoor terrace and we got a free drink voucher on arrival which was very nice. It’s quite basic and our room did smell of smoke which I know isn’t allowed in the hotel, but you could smell it quite strongly when we arrived. Our studio was very large for 2 people with a nice little kitchenette and balcony. The bathroom was tiny and my partner could hardly sit on the toilet due to the layout. For the money this hotel is perfect if you want somewhere central what you won’t be spending much time in.
