Stayed here a few years ago and had a fabulous seaview studio and overall experience. The public areas are lovely as is the location. Booked for 6 nights in November and no way of securing a seaview which is unusual (we would be prepared to pay more). We still requested a seaview and sunny balcony in the booking as rooms are assigned on arrival. So disappointed when we were assigned 416-a long narrow and dark room at the side of the hotel. Despite speaking to two different reception staff and going back the next day to check to see if a room had become available, we were told there was no chance as there were guests staying long term in seaview rooms. So, don’t get excited by all the lovely photos. We won’t be back. It was pretty depressing to be in such a gloomy studio apartment in a location right on the front line.…
We always stay here when in Marbella, for a few reasons. The whole place is spotless. Housekeeping are very efficient and everything is done properly....no shortcuts. The apartments are different shapes and sizes, but all of the ones we have stayed in have a small kitchen area that is fine for 2 people, and they have been the same in all apartments. All have table and chairs on the balcony, and a little pull out line for wet swimmers n stuff like that. In a good location on the promenade, so a nice walk before and after dinner for restaurants. Supermarket just around the corner. But mainly because of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Recent visits have involved PCR testing and form filling...reception have been most helpful with printing and translations. 24 hour desk too...in case you need any help in the night. I wouldn't like to stay anywhere else now. A pleasure to be there, from start to finish.…
So after travelling to Marbella for my film tour , I first get to hotel , I am English and don’t speak Spanish the manager who was at the desk did not even offer to help with my booking , even when I asked as the booking was in Spanish , so I told the manager I would be staying a while maybe few weeks , the next day I arrived back to the hotel abit late after my checkout as I was stuck in traffic , the manager then tells me to get all my stuff and leave hotel even though he knew I wasn’t going to checkout as I already the day before todo him I would be staying I was 2 hours over the checkout but was staying anyway he was so rude and no reason to even throw me out and say I Wasn’t welcome at the hotel , I am taking this further and getting a lawyer involved as I didn’t not do anything wrong to be treated and thrown out like that ! I told them I was staying a few weeks and just because I arrived late after due checkout I get treated poorly They will be hearing off my lawyer I have a huge fan base on social media and will be letting all my fans know if this !…
I'm sorry to say, but the wifi in this hotel are really bad. So if you need stable wifi connection, don't stay here. They need to speed up the available wifi, so it's possible to stay. Great views but without wifi is not worth the money. The management should take this seriously, and not try to excuse.
A great hotel for a good price. Next to the beach and restaurants and bars. A 10 minute walk to the Old Town. We stayed in a studio apartment, requested a double bed and sea view which we were given. Small balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Kitchen was adequate, electric kettle, fridge etc. Could have self catered breakfast and lunch easily. Very good shower and large towels (so lovely to have large bath towels) We paid extra for breakfast one morning, which was very reasonable. Lots of choice, continental, cooked, cereals, coffee, orange juice. Something for everyone. Not that its a necessity but a nice to have, English TV channels! We stayed for 3 nights and thought it was a nice place to stay, would stay again. For the price it had everything you needed and close to everything. Shame the pool was closed because of Covid, which to be honest I couldn't really understand as other pools were open. Staff all polite and friendly. House keeping very good. There is a pay as you go car park next door which we didn't realise until it was too late and had already parked elsewhere.…
Wonderful hotel right on the promenade but placed at the quiet end so you could get some sleep yet in a few minutes be at the centre of the cafes and pubs. Wonderful walking location and only cross the street to an entirely different experience of the old Moorish town with its narrow tiled streets. The rooms have everything you would need for a serviced apartment and was spotless. Amazing use of space to get the kitchen bits in with a small dining table and a bed and outdoor balcony. Wonderful views from the rooftop cafe and swimming pool. Would def stay again. Not walking distance to the Marbella bus terminal but very easy to hop on a bus to Puerto Banus, Malaga, Estepona, or the massive shopping centre close by.
A lovely hotel only a few minutes stroll from the numerous restaurants and bars in the old town. A great location and you can walk out of the hotel onto the promenade and have a lovely stroll. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We also had some lovely lunches at the rooftop restaurant and it was very reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.
Very close to Marbella Old Town. Perfect. Walking distance. Right next to the beach too. Small, old school hotel but reasonably priced. Follow me on Instagram @gentlemans_journeys for more! And @marbellacartel clothing!!
My husband and I stayed in Princesa Playa for almost 2 weeks. Location is perfect for access to restaurants or the Old Town or for walking the Paseo. Supermarket is about 150 metres away. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and always greeted visitors with a smile. In particular Miguel and Fran were extremely helpful and professional. Over the 2 weeks we had 3 different room types. We loved the one bed with side sea view or the studio with sea view best. We will definitely come back.
I stayed here for a week in a one bed apartment. It was very clean and plenty of room for 2 of us. The room had a fridge, hob and the free WiFi worked fine. Only went to the pool once and it was ok, I preferred the beach opposite where sun beds were 6 euros each, this included a parasol. The apartments are in a good location with restaurants, bars, supermarket and bus stop very close. As I was here at the end of October it was quiet with a few restaurants closed. The weather was between 23-27c.
