A satisfactory stay. Highlights are the pool and beach area. The room and the bed were comfortable. The hotel has character and is in a nice quiet neighbourhood. The biggest downfall of this hotel is the staff. Almost everyone we met was unhelpful and unfriendly. The simplest ask was too much for them. I have no idea how this bad attitude has permeated so much of the hotel staff and it’s not consistent with our experiences of warmth and friendliness in Marbella/Spain generally. One very notable exception is Marcelo at the pool who is always happy, polite and helpful. Maybe Marcelo should provide training to the rest of the hotel staff. On arrival we had lunch in the pool side restaurant. Waiter was so rude and told us we couldn’t sit outside as the tables were reserved. 90 minutes later lunch had finished and those tables outside were still empty. Paella was average and we were charged for 3 paellas instead of 2 - luckily we spotted this. I left my cardigan at breakfast one morning and had to go to ridiculous lengths to get it back the next day. Again, nobody wanted to help. They will charge you extra for a lot of standard things at this hotel! €7 per day per sun lounger on the beach and €14 for parking. These things just annoy guests and are unnecessary additional costs. The hotel has a lot of potential and I hope that things improve - most of the issues come from bad management as opposed to quality of accommodation, so these issues are fixable.

Room Tip: It’s probably worth paying extra for a sea view. But avoid the rooms underneath the breakfast room.

Hotel's Favourite
This is a pretty luxery hotel by the beach with two golf courses. There is morgongåva more beside so you need transport to go shopping. Nice beds and clean big rooms. Most of the with seawiew from the balcony. Nice breakfast buffet with alot, even Cava!! Very friendly and serviceminded staff! Cause of the corona virus they closed both courses at the hotel so we couldnt play there. But we sure will comeback!

Beach location, bed & breakfast is good…… Otherwise the rest is a bad copy of Falwlty Towers, just missing John Cleese. I have stayed in many many hotels all over the world, but this hotel takes the first place as the worst. We had booked a beachfront suite, big room but smelled like an old humid basement, some days even the sewer smelled…..we had a small terasse in front of the room, one morning we could not use it, because they sprinkelled the whole area in front, so it was impossible to use it, due to a “lake” in front. The keycards had to be refreshed every 2nd day, they said it was because they had been in contact with our cell phones, but we kept them very carefully apart. We had paid for parking, 14 € a day, but either our parking card did not work or the system did not work, so guests without parking license could park for free. The food except for the breakfast, were in general awfull, complete tasteless and overprized. In some parts of the hotel, WiFi did not work at all or very sporadicly. The website is not updated, shows cabanas that are not existing now. The staff were in general not serviceminded at all, it seemed like guests were more a nuisance to them. I made some complaints in the reception, they looked just very tiredly at me, like they thought “here is another one…” To summarize, the hotel is a very bad value for money and can not at all be reccomended.

pon booking i asked could the stay be made special as my friends birthday and we missed celebrating this together i received confirmation this was ok and would be sorted, i then got the room and nothing and then asked at reception and was told something would be done for the next day, yet nothing we could not sleep in the beds properly as they were so hard , the room we were given was dark and everything old my friend and i live in different countries , i had to depart first and she was to leave 2 hours later with her 2 children, when asked could someone help her with her luggage she was told they did not start working until 12 midday ( this was 10am) and not one member of staff helped her down with her suitcases , the actual service from the staff was very very disappointing and rude

+ big size of rooms (but furniture is very old) + good air con - huge parking at the hotel and guests need to pay for it - 6€ for the bed at the beach for the guest!! - 6€ for a small beer and 4€ for water is insane - sun beds at the pool are awful - you can have drink at the bar in a glass, but they can’t bring glass to your room, because of the covid?? - Lot’s of people inside for breakfast and not enough waitress. You will have plastic fork (because of covid) and metal knife. What’s wrong with fork? - 16 people were in the queue to the reception to check in - horrible internet
