We recently stayed for 10 days n the Iberostar selection in Marbella this month. It was our first time staying with Iberostar. We had such an amazing experience. The staff couldn’t be nicer especially Isabel. We decided to go all inclusive. It was the best decision we made. The morning buffet was fabulous, we especially loved the omelettes, fresh fruit and pastries!! Both lunch and dinner menu had loads of choice every day. We were really impressed by the little treats that staff gave us while we lounged around the pool every day. I’d also like to note that the place was beautifully maintained and cleaned daily to a high standard. There were also lots of activities provided throughout the day by Rita, I would recommend to do them. They’re great fun!! It is in a great location only 20 min walk from Porto banus. We had a fabulous experience at Iberostar and we look forward to coming back here again!…
Wonderful. We never return to the same place twice, but this is an exception! We’ll be back in April! We couldn’t go to the US as planned, due to Covid. So tried to find something at the last minute. There wasn’t much choice and whenever something looked promising, the reviews weren’t great. This place had continually strong reviews and they are well deserved. The hotel is a genuinely lovely site, excellently maintained and immaculately clean. Staff were consistently polite, friendly and helpful, the food was good and above all - the place was peaceful and relaxing. There weren’t many children, no poolside entertainment (that’s a good thing!) and pool games were prohibited. The pool is super, even if the gardens are very small. And the gym/spa were also very pleasant. We wanted to relax and the most music we had was a marvellous saxophonist playing chillout music one evening and a super harpist at breakfast. Enjoyable, without being intrusive. Our room was spacious, with great balcony views and a fridge (which, when opposite a large Aldi supermarket was very useful)! We only had an evening meal once in the restaurant because it was a tad expensive and there was no information regarding what the buffet would comprise of. But breakfast was excellent - you couldn’t ask for more. The location is great if you want peace. The promenade is glorious and you can walk 15 minutes in one direction to Puerto Banus and an hour in the other to Marbella. Fab beach and lots of lovely restaurants very near by. We were so nervous of getting it wrong (we’ve done that more than once) but enjoyed ourselves so much we booked again before we left. We’ll worth it. Thank you.…
We had hod booked a twin room at this hotel 2 months before our arrival date. We were 2 adults, and at the time of booking our daughter who was accompanying us was 15. We arrived at checkin at 10:30 pm, but the very rude receptionist Inma refused for our daughter to stay in our room or to let us add an extra bed to our room, as our daughter has recently turned 16, and insisted we get her another room and pay another 1200 euro for the extra double room on top of our room. So we had to search for another hotel mid night to accommodate us, were they were happy to add our daughter with us. We were forced to cancel our booking with them, and above all they now want to charge us for cancelation fees. I do not recommend booking this hotel for families, very bad and rude customer service.…
We went as a group of 3 couples for 5 nights all inclusive. We were all extremely happy with the hotel - couldn’t really fault the hotel in general. Our rooms were all ground floor & really lovely. Very clean & spacious. One had a ‘garden view’ which was very pretty & the other two had a view of the pool & the lovely little pools with the first & turtles which were so lovely to watch. I saw some comments about loud doors slamming - it didn’t bother us. There was never any issues getting sun beds around the pool, even with 6 of us, albeit we were getting out there mid morning. If we left it until the afternoon I think we’d have struggled getting 6 together. One side gets in the shade much sooner than the other in the evening but you’ll figure that out! I can see why some people have said it would be nice to have music around the pool but it wasn’t a big deal. The staff around the pool are great allowing you to order drinks. The guy at the bar (fernan) really looked after our group & we enjoyed his special cocktails every day! They were the nicest cocktails I’ve ever had at an all inclusive - really good quality & not cheap alcohol like you usually have at European all inclusives. The food was amazing! Loads of choice at brekkie, lunch & dinner. All the staff were great in the restaurant - especially the man who we assumed was the manager. There was also a lovely lady around the pool area at lunch. It was really nice to be able to order off a menu at the pool area at lunchtime (as opposed to buffet style). Great selection of different meats every evening to be cooked fresh & they give generous portions! We particularly all liked the duck steak one evening. One thing I didn’t know before going was the hotel was paperless - so you needed to use an app to see the lunchtime menu / snack menu around the pool / bar. This wasn’t an issue for us but the app wasn’t the easiest to use when we wanted to find out other information about the hotel. Location was great - you could have a nice walk along the beachfront in either direction. It was about 10 mins to Puerto Banus so we headed there for a walk & ice cream a few days. We used taxis a lot in the evenings - they’re really cheap & the reception will call them for you & they were always there within a few minutes. Then there were taxi tanks in Marbella & puerto banus to get back again. I’d recommend a trip to Marbella old town - really pretty. We ate at The Farm one evening which had a pretty courtyard to eat in & the food / drinks were lovely. One thing one of our group figured out was the mirrors in the hotel room have a blue tooth & speaker built in! Also the cleaners must have noticed my birthday cards in the room so I got back to a rose champagne bottle! Then we took it to dinner & the restaurant staff gifted me another bottle! This particular bottle wasn’t available within the all inclusive (99% of drinks were though!) so it was very kind. I’d definitely recommend to others & I’d say go all inclusive!…
Stayed here for a week 11-18 June 22. Rooms were spacious with a big balcony, large bathroom and comfy beds. Did not have to get up early to put towels on the loungers, as people only started putting their towels down about 8.45. Twice during the week we were given free glasses of sangria at lunch time while we were sunbathing. On the Friday afternoon. they came around with free bowls of chopped fruit which tasted delicious. The pool was not noisy even though there were a couple of stag parties towards the weekend. The breakfast was excellent with a really good choice. My husband who is really fussy even loved his breakfasts. The cocktails were about 9 euros each. There was a free water station and ice machine on each floor which was very useful. Most of the staff were very friendly. Would definitely come back to stay here. If you wanted cheap drinks etc there was an Aldi right opposite the hotel as all the nearby shops were extremely expensive. There was also a fashion show by the pool one day.…
Had a great time. The grounds were well kept and the food was the best part of the trip. We had an all inclusive package which was a great decision. The meals were all freshly prepared and delicious with lots of choices. Service was good too. The only thing missing was evening entertainment.
What a hotel and what a stunning place in the world, a 15 minute walk along the beach front to the stunning puerto banus and located right on the beach, what more could you want, the hotel even surprised us with bottle of bubbly in our room for my wife’s 30th birthday whilst staying here, drinks were good price, we didn’t stay for dinner but we used the breakfast every morning which was lovely, amazed by the hotel and the place In general, my favourite holiday so far
My wife and I stayed for a week in June, with the exception of Covid we have stayed here for the last 4 years previously and can only say we absolutely love this hotel, the staff are fantastic right from the moment you check in right up to when you leave. Rooms are clean and plenty large enough for our requirements. The hotel is ideally located for both bays and Marbella. The only small issue is the Beach Club no longer part of hotel as always enjoyed it previously. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for another wonderful holiday.
We have been regular visitors for over 30 years, which also included our children’s families and many friends that we introduced to the hotel. It was always our favourite due to the location, amazing staff and general overall quality. But the "number 1" reason why we loved it so much was the amazing beach club and the atmosphere it always had. But for some reason, this year the beach club has completely changed, COMPLETELY spoiling our holiday – such a shame! I’m always up for change and improvements, but this did not work: • Sunbeds cost either 49 or 59 euros per person per days – a massive increase. • Instead of 40 sunbeds around the pool, there are now between 10 to 15 “heavy” structures. You can’t call them sunbeds – they cannot be moved and restrict movement. • The restaurants always had an amazing atmosphere and served great food. This year the menu had completely changed, and no one was eating there – why???? • Couldn’t get what you would expect – coffees, ice creams,…. All gone. • It just doesn’t work and was disappointing. We can’t stress the impact the previous beach club had on the hotel. We don’t want to spend a day in a place with no atmosphere – and spend 49 or 59 euros per day per person to sunbathe. Most guests we spoke to thought the same. I really hope this can be reviewed because it was our favourite “all round” holiday destination. It will 100% stop us going back if it doesn't - which is bad news for us!!!! Iberostar?????…
What can I say. We have had a wonderful time at this hotel. The place is clean tidy and well decorated. The staff are what makes this hotel. They do an absolutely fantastic job and couldn't have been more attentive to our every need. The all inclusive package couldn't really be better on my opinion. We have been on many all inclusive and the eating experience has usually felt like cattle being fed as cheaply and quickly as possible but not here at iberostar coral beach. Attentive staff show cooking omelettes with a large selection of breads cheeses and fruit. Hashbrowns and various eggs cooked many ways to order. Lunch is a small selection of 6 to 8 dishes served on the pool terrace this menu changes everyday. Me and my wife always found something that stood out for us to try and every lunch we had was delicious. On all inclusive even if you didn't fancy the set lunch menu you can order as much as you'd like from the snack menu which includes burgers fresh fish dishes among other things. The drinks package is honestly the best I have ever had anywhere. Quality premium beer, premium spirts including absolute and smornoff vodka. Not a multi drinks dispenser in site. All bottles of branded soft drinks and premium sodas and tonics. Made with care and attention by the lovely and wonderful staff. Different cocktails brought round the pool in a large vat for customers to try..simply excellent. The room we had was a sort of duples double with a balcony on the ground floor and a large terrace with jacuzzi and sea view. My advice would be to upgrade to this if you can afford to. This offered great flexibility for sun bathing and adding a touch of glamour sat in the hot tub having drinks looking out to sea. A special mention to the management team also here who clearly support their staff and we're always lovely to speak to.....brilliant from start to finish. Well do e iberostar team…
