The hotel is located close to the tourist information center of the optional tour meeting point and within 15 minutes walking distance to the center and bus terminal.
The arrival is also a late-night flight, so a 24-hour hotel is a requirement.

Even 20,000 yen for a night with breakfast was the cheapest of the surrounding hotels.
Sad about the weak yen 💦

Hotel in a central location ideal for visiting Malaga. In 2 minutes on foot you are close to the main shopping street and in 5 minutes on foot you reach the city port.
Hotel with reception open 24/24h we were treated kindly from the beginning to the end of the holiday. Rooms not too spacious but very clean! An excellent value for money!

Great hotel in the center of Malaga! The location couldn't be better, you are just a couple minutes away from the main shopping area, the central market, the cathedral, all the central sites! Even the beach is just a 15 minute walk away. It was perfect for the two nights we were in Malaga. Nothing luxurious, but good value for money. They have parking spots which was really ideal for us, this was actually one of the main reasons why I booked this hotel specifically. Not to forget the 24 hour service at the front desk, Miguel was very kind! We look forward to coming back!

We booked this hotel based on the positive reviews and were unfortunately very disappointed on site. Cleanliness in the room did not meet basic hygiene standards in any way. Our duvet was full of hair, and the towels had numerous stains. After reporting our request to reception, we were allocated another room – but we found the same inadequate cleanliness problems there.

The quality and condition of the towels were so poor that we would never use them in our private household. It left the impression that the standards of the house do not meet the level that guests can expect.

Due to these circumstances, we decided to move to another 4-star hotel that same evening, which was only 5 minutes away and offered a great team and excellent service.

Another point is that negative reviews appear to be removed, which for me worsens the overall impression even further. Therefore, I strongly advise all future guests to take care and recommend choosing an alternative accommodation. Our stay was a great disappointment.

On the plus side the hotel & the bedroom were extremely clean & the reception staff very efficient. It is also in a great location
On the down side the room I was given was extremely dark with one small window with bars, looking at a wall some two or three feet away. So absolutely no view of anything except a blank wall. The other downside was the smell in the bathroom which was most unpleasant.
I asked shortly after arrival if I could have a different room but none were available although the receptionist said he would leave a note for the morning reception to offer me an alternative. However again nothing was available.

This hotel had quite good reviews, so we decided to book it for one night 3/4 days before our roadtrip. But unfortunately I got ill 2 days before. We read their cancellation policy about 48 hours DDL, but we still hoped for some agreement to change our date of arrival. We did not asked our money back. We would like to
come later. But not anymore. Because absolutely unprofessional communication. At first we requested the dates change. No response. My friend sent them a message. Suddenly it was declined, no answer no explanation, nothing. Rude. Then she asked about it in the messages and got very unprofessional response about cancelation policy and no possibility to change without additional cost. But that was all. No details about this possibility, any questions, if it is a good solution for us and how can we make an agreement. Nothing... It seemed like they threw us to the bin immediately. Finally I also sent an email about this problem, but we met only ignorance again.
So now we can say only one thing: Good to not be in that hotel, because I'm not sure even the check-in will be allright.

The stay at Hotel Sur was the most unpleasant experience I've had in my life. On the 3th day of our stay the water was all with black dots and obviously contaminated so we werent able to brush our teeth or have a shower. Luckily for us we had bought bottled water so we wash our face with that. Immediatly we went to the reception desk to complain about the problem. The receptionist instead of apologizing in the name of hotel he had a debate with us about if the problem is real even though i brought him a bottle full of the contaminated water. After half an hour explaining they decided to check the room and it was the hotel issue. Something contaminated the source of the water in the hotel, as they said. Since clean water is the basic human right, we asked to be refunded for the next 2 days as we would like to leave and look for another hotel. They asked us to leave the water open and wait for longer period and it will clean itself. We agreed, because we didnt want to ruin the whole day looking for another accomodation. After waiting for almost two hours the water was a bit cleaner but not clean. After that we said that we want to leave so they told us that they can only refund the money for the next day as for that day we should have left earlier if we wanted to be refunded (earlier the receptionist said that he can not talk about refunding, we should wait the menager who is at lunch at that moment). So after long talking we asked for the book of complaints and wrote all the details. So since Wednesday 29.12.2021 I haven't yet received the refund even for that one night. Our day was ruined and the staff was very very rude.
Attached I am sending you a picture from the water.

The hotel is well located, within walking distance to the city and the metro station to and from the airport. Allocated a room on the 2nd floor by the lift so it was noisy - mainly from guests coming and going. Despite overlooking the Main Street, I wasn’t bothered by outside noise. Room was a little small for a twin room, although had there been another guest with me, I am sure a bigger room would have been offered.

The room itself was very clean although basic: no safety deposit box, no fridge and no hairdryer. Bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower. The towels looked a bit tired looking and a little yellow and there was no bath mat to standing on when coming out of the shower.

Didn’t sample the breakfast as I go to a little cafe by the cathedral but for Euro 6, seems a good price.

There is a shop close to the hotel which sells water, soft drinks etc. and a bar selling Belgian beers to the right of the hotel.

Small hotel in excellent location. The rooms are clean but very small and badly soundproofed, ours, on the second floor, had a window overlooking a very narrow cavedio and was very dark, you could not see the sky and it was impossible to understand if it was day or night. For the asking price I expected something better.

Hotel has good location, both from train station and city center. Good size of the room and bathroom. Comfy beds. Very clean. Decent breackfast (various ham, cheese, cereals, pastry, tea/coffee)

But it was very noisy! Walls seem to be very thin. You will hear everything from other rooms and staff premises. Our room had only one tiny window opened into narrow inner yard. Light (lamps) in the room also were weird

Bus at Airport! Minimum euros. Get off bus at park - walk through park (lovely park) and you will see tourist info at end. Turn right and you are there! Sur is on left a few yards down. Hope this helps!
