I stayed in Oasis Backpacker's Hostel, Malaga for 4 nights in July 2016 and was extremely happy with the hostel and it's services. In my opinion, it is the perfect hostel. Full points for its location as you can reach most touristy places on foot. The vibe in the hostel is always upbeat. You'll end up making loads of friends...

This hostel is awesome to meet other travelers and is a good spot to check out Malaga and surroundings. Within 2 min. you are in the City centre: Close to Bars, Restaurants, Shops. The Big Cathedral, Museums (eg. Thyssen) and Alcazaba are within 3-15 min. Walking. They hostel is clean and typical "Hostal-style" you get who you are staying with.......

Popped up here with the family. You don't need to stay here to use the roof top bar. Nice setting, some nice chill out tunes being played. Prices like what you would expect €7/8 for a cocktail. Like I said, it would have been 5 stars, but on ordering our 2nd round, my daughter got a Love on the Beach...

Be carefull with this hostel. I woke up bit late(about 1 hour after check out time) and they didnt gave me my key deposit because of that. Noone told me about this when i checked in and also didn't find it nowhere in rules/policy list. And i didn't receive any recipe or check, so i'm not sure it is hostels...

There are a lot of backpackers you can talk with and the flair in general was really nice. Breakfast for 2.50€ was great. Rooms are clean, each room has its own bathroom. Wifi is free but a little bit slow.

Lovely chilled out roof top bar. Very chilled out atmosphere when we visited from 4_7pm. Fantastic gin with the kiwi and raspberry. Absolutely gorgeous award winning and I can see why. The Martin Miller was also good. Served with lots of ice lime and a Strawberry lace garnish. Can't comment on the hotel but the roof top bar is certainly...

The 3 euro breakfast was fantastic!! Definitely do it!! Room was clean. Beds felt a bit rickety, so didn't feel 100% safe going up and down from the top bunk, but mattress was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Was great to be able to leave our luggage in the lock up after we checked out. Overall pretty good!

I've been there many times. Everytime I have to stay in Malaga I chose this hostel. The rooms are really nice and the atmosphere is great!! All the workers are super nice and happy to help you. It is in the center of Malaga and not far from the beach!!

All of the above. Malaga is a great city and this place has excellent proximity to town, with a nice wander to get to the beach. Things always able to be booked such as a city walk or bar crawl. The bar crawl left a bit to be desired with some uninspired choices of destination. On that front would recommend...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the most "party" hostel in Malaga. We have a saying at Oasis Backpacker's Hostel in Malaga, " If you can't meet anyone here, you can't meet anyone anywhere!" or maybe that was "Why do my socks smell like tequila?" Either way, cheap drinks, two bars, and endless activities keep travellers mingling all night long. In Malaga we want everyone to join in the fun. Whether we're spending the day basking in the warm Andalusian sun at one of Malaga's many beaches (yes even in the winter), sipping cocktails while looking out over the skyline on our rooftop bar or stumbling through the historic center after one of our famous nights out, you will be welcomed into the family...Oasis Style! ... more   less
