Don't be disappointed when you see this city from a distance. The endless numbers of greenhouses will not even be seen during your stay. The hotel is situated literally at the beach, and what a beach it is. Pebbles in all shapes, and not sand blowing all over. Clear water, and several divers dive just 50 m from the shoreline...

We decided it's time to explore east of Motril and so we booked a night at Hotel Emarcadero. We spoilt ourselves to a room with a sea view. This frontline hotel felt good from the moment you walk through the sliding glass door into the modern and tastefully presented foyer. The welcome was warm, despite us arriving at mid day...

I really can't fault this hotel. The room is lovely, spacious, clean and with a little balcony. The staff are very friendly and helpful and all seem to speak perfect english. The hotel is right on a very cute and pretty beach. The breakfast is brilliant - right now I'm sitting nearly on the beach with a plate of exotic...

Stayed here in mid-June, just the beginning of their summer season. Spotlessly clean, comfortable hotel directly on the beach in a very quiet little village at the end of the beach. Friendly service at the front desk and in bar/restaurant/breakfast area -- seems to be family run. Not sure if it's 2 or 3 stars -- the hotel displays 2...

This hotel was such good quality. Our room was really modern, light and airy and the balcony looked out to sea. Beautiful location, right on the beach. The bar/restaurant was on the beachfront, with lots of palm trees, etc. Lovely place to be. Although the hotel was beautiful and we loved our stay there, the resort itself was very disappointing....

Being slightly put off by the 3 star ranking of this hotel we were very pleasantly surprised on our arrival to find it to be very good quality. Located right on the beach it has a natural advantage and the rooms are furnished to a very good standard with plenty of storage space and good air-conditioning. Wi-fi is available throughout...

We stopped by here trying to get out of riding motorcycles through a heat wave we'd been in in Granada. The town is tiny and this stretch of beach, with boats bobbing in the harbour and not very many people on it, was so sweet. The rooms are basic, but it's worth it to get a view of the sea...

This place is amazing. We stayed there for 3 nights in low season and really enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is very nice, located on a lovely pebble beach. We had a room with a little balcony and views to the cliffs and sea. The room was modern, big and very clean with a large bathroom. The village was...
