We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. Lovely white locale, delicious homemade breakfast, informative and helpful staff. The perfect place to rest after a day of visiting Cadiz, Jerez, or the beach. We wish we had booked a longer stay.

I am delighted that we decided to stay in this hotel on our recent trip to Spain. We stayed in the Tarifa room, which has the most spectacular private balcony with 'chill out' area and 180 degree panorama of Vejer and towards the coast, to Africa. We sat and watched the sunset there on a couple of evenings, sipping our...

El Cobijo de Vejer is listed in Trip Advisor as being in/near Cadiz - It isn't, Vejer is a lovely white hilltop town which is difficult to access with a car. So if you want a hotel which is convenient for Cadiz then this is not it - if that is not what you are after I don't think you...

I can only add to the already excellent reviews of this wonderful little B&B.Our hostess was Toni, who altho we had a slight language barrier ( I must learn more than basic restaurant Spanish!!) was utterly charming , constantly smiling, welcoming and hospitable. The room was quirky and individual , accessed by an external stair from the courtyard,(which is very Moorish...

We got there late after visiting Tangier. The owner took us to a restaurant after 11 PM, we had a nice meal and he walked us back to the small hotel. The room was small but charming, and the breakfast was excellent. You cannot drive to the hotel...must park in public area and travel back streets there. But once you...

This bed & breakfast is in an extraordinary old building with views over the straits of Gibraltar to Morocco. The owners, Juan and Carmen, are wonderfully hospitable and have built up a well deserved reputation. Breakfast, when you sit round a table with other guests, is just incredible. We were there for a week and will certainly be going back.

We stayed here for two days in June. Even though the house was full, it was very quiet at night, a rare commodity in spanish towns! Rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is simply amazing: all fresh, delicious, homemade food. Best of all: Carmen and Juan are the most charming and welcoming hosts you can imagine. You can easily...

We've just come back from Vejer after a few days in Seville. The owners, Juan and Carmen are amazing - so hospitable, friendly and relaxed and really went out of their way to look after us. The location could not be topped - the views are probably the best anywhere in town. The breakfasts were the best we had -...

We stayed here, in Vejer de la Frontera, during our tour of Western Andalucia in September. We had worried that the town may be a little too on the tourist trail, however, it was lovely and very Spanish, as was the excellent El Cobijo. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and helped us to use our slightly iffy language...

“We were very pleased with the Xaouen and Tarifa rooms, since we wanted kitchenettes. Xaouen is more spacious and a floor higher with a terrace, whereas Tarifa is a studio with a terrace plus a little sheltered seating area, still with a great view. The tight spiral staircase in Xaouen and the built in double bed in Tarifa add to the charm, but are best suited to guests with no mobility issues. Not familiar with other rooms, but all would enjoy the beautiful little patio with lovely flowers.”
