We had a room overlooking the street which we were told was not noisy. At 2.30am we asked to move room as the noise from the street was relentless. We were told there were no rooms but after kicking up a fuss we were given an internal room which was better but not exactly quiet. The breakfast was very poor....

We stayed at this hotel for just one night in October 2010. Was hard to find due to very narrow pedestrianised old city streets but once located was in a very good postition to see old city and shops and restaurants. Found a very nice modern tapas/restaurant within few yards of hotel (turn left from front entrance) and had a...

This hotel was a a nice introduction to cadiz. It is situated in the Old Town on a very busy pedestrian street. It is in walking distance to everything. The bus stop for the beach is right around the corner. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke some English. There was a computer that was of free use to the...

Great location in the Old Town, if arriving by train / bus take a taxi as there is a maze of streets and it won't cost very much. Staff were a little rude and unhelpful on arrival, however staff on additional days were more friendlier. We had breakfast included in our rate but only ate there once as it was...

My partner and I stayed at Las Cortes de Cadiz for 2 nights. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and was tastefully decorated. The bathroom was spotless and had everything that we needed. The building is a wonderful old Gaditano house with rooms on a few floors around a central courtyard. And therein lay...

Good location, nice interior but avoid if you want to sleep, noise from the street, noise from other rooms was incredible, at one stage I thought someone else was in our bathroom coughing his lungs up such was the lack of sound proofing between the rooms, oh and there was a crying baby in another room, enough said, oh forgot to...

Dear Sir,Madam, We are sorry about your problems with the noise, but let me tell you that we aren´t responsible, because is impossible to control every guest or a baby who cries. Finally, our room maid service begins at 08:30, but the don´t clean up the rooms until 09:30 or 10:00. By this reason, any room maid can´t bang your...

Stayed at the Cortes for one night (8/13/09). We were on a two week trip, and most of the hotels we stayed in were either 4 or 3 stars, so when we realized the Cortes was only a 2 star we weren't expecting much. Turns out it was a very nice and well maintained hotel, with lovely lobby area and...

This is a well run hotel that seems to have been recently refurbished. The rooms are quite small though and I wouldn't fancy a long stay in one. The location is excellent but the street outside is pedestrianised and noisy late at night. For some reason this noise gets particularly bad between 4.00 and 5.00am (maybe the youngsters are being...

Recently spent four nights at this hotel. It is a lovely hotel in a very beautiful old city. Staff were very friendly with the hotel immaculate - marble everywhere. The rooms are not very big but are a decent size and it is a fine sized bathroom too. Lots of toileteries. The noise was bad on the Thursday night but...

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Hospederia Las Cortes de Cadiz last week. The attractive entrance is on a pedestrian street in the heart of the beautiful old city. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the room and common areas to be spotless and well-maintained. There's a PC in the lobby for internet use...
