Considering it cost us only EUR 51 for nights stay, the room was quite ok. Parking costs an additional EUR 6 Breakfast is EUR 12 per person extra The Internet in the room also costs an extra, which is why we didn't use it. No shampoo or soaps, only squeezable soap bottle attached on the inside wall which divided the bath tub and sink (I.e. If you needed to wash hands after using the restroom, you would need to bend and reach inside the bath tub to retrieve the soap) Overall it was an average experience and ok for one night stay if you are traveling
Stayed in this hotel for 1 night on a business trip. The neighbourhood did not seem one of the finest but as I arrived late and by Taxi this was no problem. That week temperatures were around 30-34c and the room did not have any air-conditioning. There were 2 option open en window and street noise or close and hot Breakfast was ok, but not great for a 4 star rated hotel. Wifi is available but needs to be paid for. This should be free of charge. There was a sauna which I did not use and this was also charged at 5 euro extra. All in all is was good, not great and I would rate the hotel 3+ star but not 4. Next day I had to stay 1 day extra and stayed in the Gera Novotel, check my review on that Hotel
I was there 1 night, slept fine, good value and a nice restaurant next door but the rooms and hallways are very spartan, lacking charm and sterile. While they qualify for 4-Star they don't put anything else in beyond getting the rating. Located in a poorer neighbourhood, with no one on the streets after nightfall. The Breakfast was good and staff friendly, however the attire and appearance of the young check-out woman didn't fit the 4-Star hotel image and should be addressed. For a 1 night business overnight it was fine.
