This is a very nice hotel and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and there was parking onsite and across the road.Rooms were large clean and comfortable but if you like the windows open at night then ask for a room around the back as the street front rooms can be noisy. Towels are certainly in need of...

The hotel and room felt just right. It was a bit warn around the edges, but so what. The price is right and I neither expect nor need perfection. THe bed was fine, the shower great, the breakfast bountiful. Satisfied all my needs.

This traditional, comfortable hotel is located near the path to the Wartburg, is very convenient for several attractions (The Bach Haus is just a few steps away) and is a 10 minute walk from most restaurants. There are great walks through the Thuringian forest, many of which are easily accessible from this hotel. Rooms are spacious, bright and clean. WiFi...

We stayed here for 5 nights. Good value. Easy to park. Sweet little unpretentious hotel. Breakfast was good and service helpful. Good stop to stay and right opposite Bachhaus. They also allow dogs. All good.

We spent 24 hours in Eisenach and picked this place based on its location (right across the street from the Bach house, a few blocks from the Luther house, and one of the closer places in town to the Wartburg). It's in the picturesque old town part of Eisenach, everything you want to do in town is easily within walking...

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. The rooms were clean and spacious, off street parking was adequate, traditional German breakfast was most appreciated and it is right across the street from the Bach Museum. It is only 1/2 hour walk to the Wartberg Castle too! Hte hotel staff was very polite and friendly. We would stay there...

A straightforward little hotel: it reminds me of my trips in Germany in the 1980's, in its scale, set up, etc., but actually it's a little fancier than the pensione style places I stayed then. There is a small working elevator, the rooms are fairly roomy, the beds new, quite firm. The breakfast was fantastic: very fresh, with a huge...

We only wanted a centrally located place to crash for a 2-day visit to Eisenach without having to pay too much. When we were told how much it was, we originally thought it was per night but it was actually the two-night price, so we had no complaints about price! The breakfast was pretty good, too, the staff were friendly...

“The streets of Eisenach become very quiet in the evening, so the location was nice and quiet. Perhaps the side away from the main square is even quieter: that's where our room was.”
