It's easy to miss this hotel, especially as the Booking.com app seemed to be confused and sent us on a tour of Wittenburg. Look for the black bear.
The receptionist was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Good safe garage for our bikes. Room was a...More
Interesting mix of old and new. Staff spoke limited English. No AC, which was a bit of a problem because of 90+ degree temperatures, but fortunately a pedestal fan and open window cooled the room adequately and the town square was surprisingly quiet. My only...More
This hotel is smack in the middle of Wittenberg old town; this means you can reach virtually all sights on foot and there is no traffic noise because you´re in the pedestrian area.

I don't think the hotel has A/C. It is an old building but totally renovated. I would be surprised if you even needed A/C, as it rarely gets really hot. We had no problem sleeping, kept the windows open, very quiet and peaceful. We had a room in the back, much quieter. The hotel is located in the pedestrian only area. Rooms in the front of the building are noisier, since bars and restaurants stay open fairly late. A lot of foot traffic.
Enjoy the trip!
