Our Princess for one day tours take us to Zwickau now and then - and we have stayed here multiple times. We have sure been in hotels that have more wow-factor than this one, but it was very clean, very conveniently located and everyone was very friendly. I would not pick this as a prime holiday location nor would I do a 30+ min detour just to stay here (mandatory in my rating scheme to achieve 5 stars), but other than that I would, if in need in the area, always book this again (actually, we just did ;-)

Achat in Zwickau is an ordinary hotel. Room was clean and quite spacious but too dark and a bit noisy. What I really appreciated was very friendly staff, far above German standard. They only offer breakfast to go nowadays due to Corona limitations which is a bit uncomfortable but the hotel staff makes it very well. They are helpful, caring and always smiling. Hotel has a little parking lot in front of main entrance but the space here is limited. I recommend using their underground garage with the entrance from the street in the back of hotel. There are signs at the main road but not well visible.

We were going to a wedding just around the corner at the Automobile Museum and this was the closest hotel. No doubt, we could have stayed elsewhere cheaper but the convinient location and the exceptionally friendly staff made it worth the price. During the shower on our 2nd morning - the shower head fell apart and the hose sprayed water EVERYWHERE. When we mentioned this at check-out, the staff was horrified and apologetic. They said we should have called the front desk for immediate attention. Glad we didn't do that, a mechanic in the room while we're still "dressed" for showering, wouldn't have been a good thing. The rooms are a good size and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is AMAZING - but expensive. ! At €14/each ~ we did try to eat as much as we could but, there's only so much room. On an up-note ~ the choices are amazing. There was "nothing" more I could even have dreamed of having for breakfast, that they didn't have. Having found out the price of a taxi - next time we'll stay somewhere further away for a lesser price and probably a good breakfast but not at €14/each.…

Friendly staff, warm clean hotel . comfortable bed. slightly old fashioned in design. Late check in and early start. Nice breakfast nothing outstanding. Went for a walk around the hotel nice walk along the river bank just behind the hotel.

I was there for some nites. Checkin and out was convenient. Room was huge and clean, but the whole day in the sun. There is no ac, so in summer it gets warm. Breaky was ok, the room was adequate, but if groups get in, it is too small, as everywhere in the world. Due to season there were kids groups and yes, kids are noisy, but that is ok. Anyway, staff is friendly and helpful. The traffic connection is also good. For me, the next time again...
