Nice, cosy place near the Center. Funny decorations, books like. Books everywhere (well, în german language only...😃) Very good breakfast Friendly staff Clean rooms Parking available for only 10€ (inside) or 7€(outside) Fridge available on the coridore.
The hotel is located perfectly for „walking“ the city. A nice surprise is how quite the location is ensuring a relaxed sleep. Modern functional design, boutique style and size hotel with a very friendly service team. The breakfast variety is very good. We also liked the vending & coffee machines near the reception. For those traveling by car parking is available in the building or near by. We‘ll come back.
Fantastic! It was clean, staff were friendly, every facility you needed.Lovely balcony with lounges, candles and garden. Short walk to the center of town, and to the train station. The train station has a supermarket there, as well as every fruit, and food stall there. The Book Hotel also has a very good continental breakfast.
I occupied a very stylishly furnished and spacious room with a nice view on the road and a garden on ground floor. within walking distance of tourist attractions and shopping district. Also close to main transport facilities.
Stayed for 2 nights at this super hotel. My spacious classic room was comfortable, immaculately clean and quiet. The bathroom had nice toiletries and the shower was superb. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is great (only 10 mins walk from the central train station (an awesome building) with the main shopping streets, restaurants etc also only 10 mins walk away. The tram system is excellent in Leipzig once you have mastered how to use it. (€1.90 into the machine inside the tram) and there are many different tram route stops very close to the hotel. You can also buy a day pass from the hotel. The ‘glass’ university building is amazing in Augustusplatz and so is the federal court building both of which are easily walkable to. Breakfast has a good variety of cereals, breads, cold meats and cheeses (not great on a hot breakfast). The only downsides were that the wi Fi is abit erratic and the TV has very limited English speaking channels. I loved Leipzig. There was much more to see. I am coming back and definitely staying at this hotel again.…
In order to post this review I had to my mobile phone as a wifi-hotspot. With the wifi the hotel is providing it is more or less impossible to check emails, let alone download any documents. A pdf containing 4 MB took 4 minutes to download. So be prepared to use your own mobile data, not a problem for visitors from the EU but probably a bit expensive if you reside outside of EU. The breakfast is very sparse, you can find juice, coffee and ham and cheese. But if you prefer to have natural youghurt instead of the sugarfilled yoghurts they offer you better start your day by visiting a supermarket. There is no bar at the hotel, no restaurant - except for the breakfast room. Otherwise clean, modern and quiet. But I still think that a modern hotel owner should invest in a fast broadband.…
My partner and I picked this hotel for a short last minute break and it was perfect. Only 10 mins walk from the centre and the hotel itself was so clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were wonderful, we turned up after their 10pm check in cut off and after calling ahead was expecting to check ourselves in but a lady stayed behind to do it. Nothing was too much trouble. Not a lot in the immediate area but not far from restaurants etc.
My boyfriend and I stayed in the junior suite for one night for his birthday this year. It was our best hotel experience yet!! We called and were able to get both an early check in and a late check out, the concierge was very friendly, the included breakfast sprawling and delicious! The location was great- walking distance both from the Haupbahnhof, Mitte and to the train to Plagwitz/ Connewitz. We lounged in the complimentary bathrooms and slippers all night! Wish we could stay there every night!! Thank you Book Hotel
This was a delightful hotel in a quiet area. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, breakfast was good, and location was good. No fridge or kettle in room, but a communal refrigerator available on the second floor, and a coffee machine in the lobby area. The front doors are locked between 10:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. Very nice people on the front desk, and the lobby was comfortable.
Easy Access. Close to City center. Nice Ambiance. This hotel is ideally located just behind buildings along the city ring. 10 min walk to the city center. The hotel itself is quite comfortable and cosy. “Book” refers to Books, not to bookings. The hotel parking was full. We therefor were sent to a more general parkinggarage some 150 meters from the hotel, where we could park on special Book hotel spots.
