We came across the hotel by chance, as many in the centre were booked up owing the to the Leipzig Book Fair. We were very pleased we did because it was the best hotel we stayed in, from all points of view, during our 3-week holiday in Germany, particularly because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, especially Frau Pohlmann. They even produced a daily bulletin for guests, detailing helpful information such as events, things to see, weather forecast, etc. We were given a very nice quiet room at the back of the hotel and a complimentary bottle of sparkling water on arrival. The hotel was very conveniently placed near to the tram stop so it was convenient for getting into the centre, and there were bakeries and a supermarket nearby. We cannot recommend the hotel enough. These people know what they are doing and do it very well. (Breakfast is provided but we didn't try this.)

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking courtyard at back are probably quieter but we did not try the rooms at the front

A very convenient location for our visit, otherwise a 25 minute walk or tram 4 or 15 ride to the centre. Riebeckstrasse is a reasonable neighbourhood and the Hotel is perfectly acceptable. Furnishing a little tired, (my bedside table was missing) but absolutely fine. No tea/coffee in standard room, free Wi-fi, one free bottle of sparkling water. Pleasant staircase and lounge with a bar. Breakfast was good with fair choice at €10. Fairly good value.

We've enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Tram no. 4 is just around the corner. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the city centre and the main railway station. A little bit shady in the evening. There are mini-bar, tablet and hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was really good.

The hotel was very clean and it's english friendly (most places are). There's a tram and bus stop not too far from the building so it's easy to get around without a car. The staff is very accommodating and kind.

Very nice hotel, clean room, bequem bad, wifi, cosy terrace for the guests, free street parking, very friendly and helpful staff. It's close to the center. You can go by tram but you can also walk. We stayed three nights. I can recommend and will try to book again if I would go back to Leipzig. Also breakfast was great!

We spent 2 nights here. Family run hotel, and extremely clean. Love the attention to detail on the staircases and in the bar. We stayed here as a less expensive option in Dresden and fell in love with the city and the hotel. The staff was amazing. "Amy" spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful to us on how to get around the city using the S Bahn. It was so easy to get downtown! Anyway...the room was small but extremely comfortable and clean. Perfect size for 2 adult women. The water pressure in the shower was awesome! We explored the hotel and it has a small courtyard but due to the cold, we stayed indoors. I would definitely stay here again.

I recently booked this hotel last minute for Coldplay in the Redbull arena and was not disappointed. Especially by the location and proximity to the tram lines (Outside the door) which took me to central station, where I quickly changed to the next tram before ending my journey at the Redbull arena. It's set on a good street with shops and various food outlets and with parking to the side and behind (In a residential area, however). I parked my rental there overnight and it was perfectly safe. Hotel decor is nice with a somewhat classical feel in parts. We had a room at the very top which was very cosy and had a nice view of the street outside. The beds were comfy, the room and bathroom was clean, with supplies of shower gel etc (Which we appreciated as we had no time to shop for that stuff before going to the event). The elevator is the slowest thing in the world though. I've never waited multiple minutes for an elevator to travel 5 floors. We're young and fit so the stairs were fine for us, but older customers may find this a bit annoying. The only other problem really was the check out process which was not made clear to us. We had no idea where to leave our keycards when leaving so we just kind of ditched them on a window ledge near reception (Indoors) and exited through the side door, as reception was not yet open. Would definitely stay again, hopefully for longer.

A very comfortable clean hotel. I took a double and it was spacious and well light. The heaters heated the room and bathroom very quickly. Free wifi. Delicious buffet breakfast. The tram stops a four minute walk away.
