This hotel was booked for a business trip so I didn't choose it myself however, I was pleasantly surprised of the location - right opposite the main train station and only 5mns walk to the main shopping streets, restaurants and bars. The room was simple but well maintained, mine had a slight smell of Tabaco but after a while I couldn't smell it anymore. The staff at reception are so helpful and really take the time to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is the highlight of this hotel. So much choice & delicious! Even the vegan area was pretty complete (usually hotels just have a few biscuits lol) - you can even make your own waffles! What I missed is a proper gym - they only have a room with 2 cardio bikes I think I was told - I didn't bother checking. But I found here are 2 very good fitness centers within 10mns walk away which do day passes.…
Perfectly located and comfortable Hotel in Leipzig. I do not agree with the idea to avoid cleaning the room. I can agree with asking the guest about the change of towels, but the room should be cleaned every day unless specifically requested by the guest.
We were one night in Leipzig on our way to Prague. It was a nice stay on a nice spot. The hotel is located in the center of Leipzig. Our car had to stay in a public parking one block away from the hotel. That was okay
Good quality/price ratio. Super position in front of the railway station, with a fast link to the airport. Large room, very comfortable. Very good breakfast, even if a little bit espansive, paid apart from the room fee.
The hotel is right in front of the central station. Behind the hotel building is great shopping area. You can walk to everything. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Very nice restaurant and very nice breakfast.
A very nice hotel very conveniently located. No hotel parking - but there is a public (very pricey) parking structure next to it. Service was very limited - as was the friendliness, otherwise I would have granted 4, maybe even five stars.
Unsympathetic! und unfriendly with the customer! the manager the woman with blonde hair, she is very arrogant! They don’t wanna try to be friendly with you! Come one! We pay you to stay there! we don’t want to stay for free you don’t have to be mean like that! never again at these hotel
Very good hotel. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Location is across main railway station. We could check in the middle of the night. The personnel were friendly. In the centre of a great city. Great!
Located directly opposite the historic train station, this hotel is an historic building in its own right. Our welcome was friendly and professional from an impeccably dressed young man who checked us in efficiently. All of the receptionists we dealt with in the two days we were there were similarly professional. The hotel dates from 1913 but is Art Deco themed. Everything, down to the smallest detail, is elegant. The restaurant, where the vast breakfast buffet is served, is a must for any train enthusiast, as it is tastefully train themed. We were intending to stay just one night but liked it so much, we ended up staying two. Our first night we stayed in a standard room on the 2nd floor and in fact, this was the room we preferred. Large, with a spacious angled bathroom, it was spotlessly clean, well appointed and beautifully furnished with Art Deco flourishes. The furniture is all solid wood. We loved that it came with a complimentary bottle of water. There was a fridge and a safe. And thankfully it had air conditioning that worked well as it was hot outside. On our second night there were no rooms left in our price category so we moved to a superior room on the 4th floor. It was actually a bit smaller than our first room but had a few extras: nicer toiletries, a bathrobe and slippers, an espresso machine. We also would have had access to the wellness area but at 30 degrees that wasn’t something we felt like! A bit of a strange layout: the bathroom is right there as soon as you enter the room, without any walls! The sink is right next to the door. The toilet, I’m glad to say, is separate (and in a room of its own) though. Both rooms were very quiet. This hotel is the ideal base for exploring this surprisingly attractive and historically interesting city which is only a few steps away. Highly recommended.…
I checked in for an early train the next morning and was met with helpful staff and a clean, comfortable room. A shame there was no room service on a Sunday but the bar was open with outdoor seating overlooking the interesting square and park.
