Great location - just several minutes by foot from the Frauenkirche and the Residenzschloss. Clean and spacious room with a kitchenette, absolutely quiet in the night, no toiletries but heating for towels in the bathroom.

The apartment was huge and had a very friendly atmosphere due to huge window fronts. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. The location is fantastic and there was even a roof terrace. The only thing to criticize was the breakfast, that...More
Very clean and the location couldn't be better. Spacious rooms with kitchenette. Hotel is very quiet and relax. Staff is very attentive. Stayed for 1 night only. There lots of restaurants within 1/2 block from hotel.
Sadly I stayed here for just one night - from the beginning to the end a great experience. We arrived too early for check-in so we stored our luggage behind the reception. The staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful. The central location...More

Hi, the building work was only just starting opposite the Am Schloss when I was there in July and would definitely be continuing in January. You would need to call the Aparthotel am Schloss directly to ask about rooms giving onto the back. To be honest, I didn't find the noise a bother with the heavy double-glazed windows closed, but I am an early-riser so construction work at 7:30 in the morning wasn't a problem.
The beds are German-style: two twin beds pushed together with their individual bedding; however in the studio-room I was in, the beds are up against a built-in headboard with built-in bedside tables, so I am not sure to what extent pushing the beds apart would be a practical solution. The hotel staff are very nice so calling and asking them directly or emailing them with your queries would get you a response.
