This hostel is one of the nicest I've stayed in. Nothing fancy/modern (it is a hostel, after all) but it has a all the facilities you need. We stayed in a private double room with shared bathroom. The room itself was a lot more spacious than other hostels we've seen. Very basic amenities. Bathrooms were all clean and well-maintained. The...

I haven't stayed in the hostel, but I went quiet offen to the restaurant for coffee and breakfast. Nice place for breakfast, having a coffee, read newspapers, meet with friends. Chilled atmosphere and very friendly waiters. Inside and outside area. My personal favourite: Good sized Gin Tonic for 3,50€ :) - Review reffering to the cafe -

The hostel is in a lively and young area of town with many bars and restaurants. Not so convent to old town which is worth seeing. Rooms are clean with good showers and toilet facilities. Each room has a unique theme which is quite fun. The wifi is unreliable and the staff tended to lack customer service. But overall a...

My friends and I stayed in Mondpalast last weekend for 1 night. It was the first time I ever stayed in a hostel and it was better than I expected. I read about this part of Dresden that it's very noisy and there are a lot of people partying and drinking until the late night etc. Well it is true,...

Stayed here for 2 nights with a Busabout stopover. Service is below average, I don't think I've ever seen them smile, everything seems like an effort, they don't explain things properly (more with what seems like they can't be bothered instead of language barrier (my German is average at best)). The facility is nice, rooms spacious and colourful. Bathrooms clean,...

If you are looking for a non sophisticated place to stay in Dresden, but in an alternative location, with cult bars and cinema, I recommend this hostel. It is an alternative place, as the reception is a bar that plays very nice music by the way. My room was huge and the decoration really crazy, but I liked it. It...

The good: hostel beds/rooms/showers/restrooms were clean. Showers had hot water, high pressure and plenty of room. The not so good: Hostel reception was not very welcoming. They didn't make you feel warm and welcome. There were not enough outlet for three people to charge phones and iPads The bad: the noise level outside of the hostel in the street outside...

The hostel is clean and comfortable to stay in; the staff are thoughtful, helpful, and a great resource. In summation: Lovely staff; large lockers, nice rooms, accessible kitchen, great area; no wifi in rooms.

The hostel is located in the hipster neighborhood of the city, a little far from the train station (they say it's a 15 minute walk, but it's actually about 40), there are very cool places near the hostel - bars, restaurants, galleries. However, the staff is not friendly at all (efficient, but not kind), they ignore you once you have...
