We had a large suite with a comfortable sitting room and a good twin bedded room. Overlooking the main road posed a problem at first but nothing too dramatic, our dog was able to sit on the balcony so a negative turned into a positive and everyone was happy! Although there were minor niggles this hotel was excellent value, in...

- room was very basic, broken fridge, small double bed(though we had asked for twins or king size), bad quality of mattress and pillow, noisy, no hair dryer or bottle opener, dirty carpet with several spiders near the windows...no micro wave; very small tv screen with 1 (CNN) English channel and 35 German ones ! The hotel is family-run and the service is excellent, all the staff couldn't do enough for us. Our suite was spacious and very comfortable, with everything we needed. The location is great, with tram stops for several lines within 5 minutes walk and the Neustadt rail station 500 yards away. Would definitely use again. One point: the hotel (or at...

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a suite with the package we booked through Travelzoo. We stayed 3 nights and this included a 4 course dinner with wine and aperitif on the first evening. As a previous reviewer commented the food was of gourmet standard. Staff spoke excellent English and were keen to assist on all enquiries we...

Five minutes walk from Dresden Neustadt railway station, this hotel is centrally located for both the Neustadt and the Aulstadt. The staff were very helpful, polite and all spoke good English. Our room was large and comfortable, included a sofa and small coffee table, and although it looked out over the main road and railway station, when the windows were...

First, if you were looking for a fancy place with major thrills .... This is not the place for you. It's a 1800's style hotel, renovated a couple of years ago and offers charm and old fashion hospitality. Rooms come with tall ceilings the ultra-modern bathroom (large), and a good mattress. Look for the deal with them for dinners included...

This hotel is very comfortable, clean and peacefull. The location very near to Neustädter Bahnhof makes it a good choice for railwaytravellers. The friendly staff makes you feel welcomed. Good breakfast helps you to be able to enjoy the various attractions of Dresden.

I stayed here for a weekend as a solo traveler and to my great delight my single room was the size of a suite, including a sofa and a bathtub ! The people at the reception were friendly and the breakfast room is very charming with chandeliers and nice furniture in the ' olde German ' style ! The location...

This is what hotels the elegant hotels in Germany used to look like. Unfortunately it's a bit past it's prime. There many things to like however. Our room was huge with a modern bath including a soaking tub. The free parking lot was large by European standards. The internet worked great. Breakfast was very well presented and all staff with...

Very nice family hotel with friendly staff. Traditional hotel with carpet (tapis-plain) on the floors, very spacious rooms, good breakfast (eggs included, prepared as you wish). Everything is very clean, bathrooms & showers are excellent, beds sleep very well! I asked for a quiet room, and although the hotel is located between two noisy streets, everything was very quiet with...
