We spent just a single night and it was well worth the money: free Parking and rich breakfast, good location and very attentive staff. Our "double room" had a "King bathroom" ;-) with a huge bath tube etc, it was a very nice topping for our evening...

I had a very bad experience with this hotel. I arrived at the time I told them at the moment of reservation. It was 9.15 pm. They disn t let us is because the hotel close at 8.00 pm and did not let us in neither the next day. The owner has been very rude with us. Also 6 other person arrive at our same time and couldnt get in. Not very safe if you work with your family or for work.

The person at the reception are very rude. They can hardly speak English and there is No assistance and tollerance at all. The place is pretty isolated and The building looks pretty old. Watch out because it close at 20 and you risk to stay out if you want to check in later. Worst experience ever since I travel. There are so many hotel in the real center of the city that I suggest everyone to see for another location.

Not a great deal to say about this hotel, it was picked as a cheap overnight stop. The room was adequate although A/C was needed but wasn't available and the weather was hot. Staff were pleasant and breakfast good.

The hotel is located in the near of the town center. It has a nice flair and feeling inside. The workers are very friendly. The german food is very very good inside. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

The location is quiet, in spite of being central (it took me 8 minutes to walk to the main station). The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant serves traditional German cuisine with a few local dishes. The staff were friendly. Good value. Just what I look for when staying in a large town or city in Germany.

I stayed here for one night and really like it. I had a single room which was small but very clean and comfortable with ensuite bathroom. There was a refrigerator which was very welcome in the Summer heat but of course it was full of minibar products so I had difficulty accommodating my own supplies of water and beer. And they have free wifi - One of my pet hates is being charged extra for internet. The Saechsischer Hof is less then five minutes walk from Chemnitz city centre and is even closer to the main train station. All the staff are very polite and helpful. The breakfast is excellent - a buffet with lots of choice.

This hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the main station and 20 minutes from the town centre. It's in an OK area, but not too smart. The staff are very friendly and it's clean and tidy, though not very modern. My single room was rather small, but acceptable. There's no air conditioning, so it might be hot in the summer. The restaurant is quite good, and relatively inexpensive. Warning; the restaurant and bar shut at 9pm on Sunday evening, as does most of Chemnitz. Overall it's good value for a short visit.
