Vinum ist part of the "embrace hotels" who give chance for people with disabilities to have a nice place to work. But don't think that the quality is lower, on the opposite!!! it is a solid, clean and friendly hotel located just in front of the train station. Just be careful to be there before 21:00 in the evening or...

This hotel is suitable if you like to be located close to the main train station. Unfortunately this is a modest part of town so it may not suit the more discerning travelers. I found it comfortable with a modest, although sufficient breakfast. You will have a comfortable stay, but, if you are looking for something inside the old town...

The shower was very slippery and difficult to get out of. I thought this hotel had been renovated. Hadn't got round to my room yet, Nasty brown walls and a dark green ceiling with an un-renovated bathroom was not a treat. The WIFI was absolute rubbish It kept switching off and needed constant re-entering of a password. Location top notch...

The Hotel Vinum offers a well-priced three star option if you are staying in Trier. The staff are both friendly and helpful, and the breakfast choice is outstanding! You even get a free small bottle of local Mosel wine to welcome you on your visit! Conveniently located opposite the train station, you are also well placed to catch buses to...

Got a good price as booked in advance. Can't fault it - clean, warm and good breakfast included. Free wifi. Great curries over the road! A bit of a walk from the main tourist area, but perfect for the train station. Reception closed early which I hadn't reckoned on (my fault for not checking), yet they kindly emailed the post...

If you are looking for a trendy modern hotel, this is not the place where you have to be. But if you are looking for a comfortable hotel with very well maintained and very well cleaned rooms close to the center, this is the place to be. But most of all, we enjoyed the very warm and helpfull welcome at...

I was delighted with my stay at the Hotel Vinum. Everything about it was lovely - great location just across the street from the train station and within an easy walk of the town center (or you can catch the bus just across the street); The room and bathroom were much nicer than in a far more expensive hotel where...

We are on a bicycle tour. Great hotel, friendly and warm welcome. They have a separate safe room to park your bicycle. Simple clean and they even offer you a welcome wine bottle in your room! Recommended.

Great hotel, clean, reasonably priced, and quiet . Room and bathroom a little small, but everything fairly new. Great breakfast. We didn't hear any noise from the street on the 3rd floor facing the street. Staff was a big help. We rented our bikes at the train station across the street, and they kept them for us safely. There are...

“Top floor is quieter...less traffic. In the German Bible Handbook of Rick Steeves he speaks poorly of the gambling and strip clubs. The casinos shouldn't be an issue, they're tucked away like any other business. We saw no evidence of the clubs that were mentioned (weren't really looking for them either).”

“Ask for a room that does not face the train station, especially on weekends. On a Friday night there were teenagers there, not being particularly rowdy but still in the quiet evening with the windows open it could bother your sleep, not me but could be a problem.”
