Good sized room with all facilities and free fast Wi-Fi. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and came with free tea/coffee selection. We arrived early but the lady receptionist willingly allowed us to leave our cases to enable us to explore the area. The breakfast choice was first class - eggs, cold meats, various excellent breads, cereal, yoghurt, cheese,...

To clarify - I did not stay at this hotel. However I had accidentally booked a non-refundable stay in the wrong month. Within minutes I tried to contact them via Booking.com, via phone and email to advise but they refused to waive the cancellation fee (which was the whole amount of the booking anyway). I find that this was poor...

Outside the hotel is a pretty ugly building but the inside is ok. The room was a good size and clean. Modern furniture with fridge and tea and coffee making facilities (although the choice of tea was really weird). The bathroom was ok, with a shower over the bath but a nice big modern hand basin. Water pressure was adequate...

The hotel itself is nice. Nothing special, but clean and relaxing. The problems started at checking out. The staff made a simple mistake in invoice and it appeared that they are unable to fix it. Shame! After more than 2 weeks I still didn't received even an e-mail from with correct invoice.

Tall ugly building from outside, but inside was clean and utilitarian. Room was satisfactory although shower gel dispenser was empty. Good view from balcony. However no air con, winter duvets meant that we were hot in bed. We tried opening window during night, but noise from barges passing meant that we had to close window again and suffer the heat....

Hi I have travelled extensively through Europe, staying in old hotels, new hotels, guest houses and city pubs and I like to give a truthful account of my stay be it a day, a week, or longer. My wife and I stayed in the Rheingaten only one night, but I hope my assessment of the hotel is of value. Welcome...

My wife and I were travelling to Poland so this was are first stop after departing the channel tunnel. Wow doesn't give it enough credit. Beautiful room looking out over the Rhine and Ruhr rivers. A balcony attached enabled us to relax as we watched the heavily laden barges pass by. We didn't eat in as we fancied a walk....

I was lucky enough to find this hotel, superb location and beautiful rooms. The staff was professional and literate about the surroundings of the hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel. Also i have to mention that breakfast was delicious ...but you have to be there on time.

Thank gabriel .
