I stayed her with my fiancee for five nights at the end of January 2017. I had booked for a double bed but what we had was a room with two single beds joined. They changed us room the second night, after we complained. The staff was very polite and friendly, the location ideal with metro station nearby and sightseeing...

For travel by train, excellent. 6 minute walk from station and transfer coaches/buses to airports. The hotel is in a busy area of the city so it's lively. There is a little noise - I see other reviews have mentioned this but this is expected in a city hotel. Good shish bar next door, late coffee/ cake shops nearby, a...

Booked this hotel for the location really and the price was very reasonable. I emailed the hotel before our trip for the Christmas markets to Dusseldorf and asked for a non smoking room at the front of the building which was what we got. Check-in was painless with a polite older gentleman on reception who gave us our key, and...

Stayed here on our cycle ride down the Rhine . Its very close to the alstade and Dusseldorf centre . we arrived very wet and asked for extra towels and were given some with no hesitation. Room perhaps a little dated but clean and acceptable . Breakfast good

Hotel was a little overpriced for how plain it was. Not in the best neighborhood. Rooms had no air conditioning so in June it was a little uncomfortable. Beds were firm, as are all European hotel beds. Overall okay visit, but very plain. Nothing to write home about.

Check-in kind and fast. Furniture and looks from the outside seem a bit dated. We stayed here for 2 nights during the Christmas markets. The beds were great. We had a room on the backside of the hotel. It was nice and quiet. Our room was clean and tidy.

Our room was comfortable, well done and quiet. The hotel was in a good location between the station and the altstadt with lots of restaurants nearby. Nice staff, good looking breakfast, wide variety of channels and languages on the telly. Good value

My wife and stayed at the Batavia Hotel for three nights (4th -7th August) and in many ways got what we expected from a 3 star hotel. Overall it represented reasonable value for money. The check in ( and indeed check out) process was efficiently dealt with by pleasant members of staff who spoke good English. no problems There at...
