This "quirky" boutique hotel is conveniently located near city centre for shops and restaurants. The Hotels appeal is down to a variety of stylish, unusual and interesting features throughout the building from corridors to bedrooms. A comfortable bed with amazingly soft pillows, very clean well equipped bathroom, all in all a superb bedroom. The breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice... More

Small but very comfortable room. Some nice touches included the record player with a selection of vinyl. Generous breakfast included. Surly young receptionist in the morning was the only downside, but the guys in the manning the reception/bar the previous evening were very pleasant.

are the only good scores I give to this hotel...unfortunately due to narrow rooms with super narrow bathrooms , extra extra thick quilts which made us sleep with open windows (-1*C at night), smells coming from the toilet and noisy neighbours (thin walls don't help)like they are in your own room, I can't help giving a low rating. Ah...forgot a... More

Stayed one night last week when on a business trip. The rooms are quiry and elegant. Bed comfy and staff friendly. Breakfast was okay but a bit limited or I would have given 5 stars. Location is excellent in midtown and very close 15 min walk to the Aldstadt

I stayed here for four nights in October 2016. It had just officially opened (in fact the opening party was my first night there) but everything was running smoothly. They've put a lot of effort into their "look" and vibe: the lobby is has really cool decor with nice comfy furniture, magazines and newspapers, some games, a pool table, etc.... More

Stopped at the Max Brown whilst visiting the security Messe show in September. The hotel is a short walk from the main station and when you arrive you walk into a beautiful reception. The staff where happy and helpful and booked me in swiftly. The room itself was very small but what do you need... the way they have decorated... More

I booked this hotel despite the mediocre-negative reviews I red online for two reasons: 1. I've noticed constructions are in the last phase of cosmetic touch ups. 2. The hotel offered a very decent rate (around 65 usd per night for a couple). It was a real delight to enter the renovated and stylish property. All the facilities were new... More

I have stayed in the hotel quite few times as is located quite near in the city center and old town. The single rooms are quite small and have a back street view. Friendly staff. Breakfast is additional with €12 and is average. You have to choose a room far away from the elevator as it gets quite noisy.

Dear guest, thank you very much for your reservation and your review. It is great to see that our hotel was your choice again because of our friendly staff and the perfect city centre location. Sometimes noise pollution (because of arriving or departing guests, for example) we are not able to prevent totally, despite our staff is reacting directly, if... More
