Only thing going for this place is the location. The rooms are gross and old. There is disgusting degraded linen under the white sheets. Breakfast is terrible. It was outrageously expensive at the time we stayed in March.

First of all the attitude of waiter was so arrogant. We spoke in english asked if the portion of the spare ribs is big enough so we could buy a fuller rack and instead of replying to us in english he turned to a seated nearby couple and said something in german probably trying to ridicule us. Very rude! Spaghetti...

Overlooking the river, 4 minutes walk from the cathedral & 1 minute more from the main railway station, the Kunibert is in a great location. Hotel itself is warm & comfortable - we were there in chilly February & found the staff very cheerful and friendly. You can choose to have breakfast there or eat in numerous bars/cafes nearby. We...

as fine the vegetables it came with could have been with a little less cooking though but was enjoyable, we also had cordon bleu (was a bit dry), the zigeunerschnitzel (nice) & potato soup (ok) The Fresh baked rolls with dip (complimentary) were a nice touch and yummy, wine on the expensive side but food price point ok! Really nice...

Kind of difficult to explain. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, our room had a beautiful view to the river. But we were not put in the hotel itself but in a flock of apartments nearby. The room was spacious and clean with cable tv and wi-fi. But the entrance was a shock. We couldn't believe...

We got an amazing price for our twin room at this low budget hotel by the Rhein. The decor is a little tired but the rooms and facilities are clean, and the staff are super-friendly. The hotel is 1 minute from the river, 3 minutes from the Altmarkt and 5 minutes from the magnificent Cathedral. What more could you want?

The hotel was in a really great location on a cute street with bars and restaurants. We went to this great Thai place a few doors down. The rooms were spacious although outdated. The staff were welcoming and friendly. However the lift was horribly small and scary so if you don't like lifts be prepared to take the stairs.

After being ushered from the street whilst on our weeks holiday away to Cologne, we sat outside and waited an age for the "waiter" (man in ordinary scruffy clothes) to take our order. We ordered the Carbonara and the Spare Ribs, and after another 30 mins it finally arrived. The food was TERRIBLE to say the least! I was so...

The restaurant is off the Rhine promenade. The food, spare ribs, was OK. Lots of ribs but a little over cooked for my liking. Not burnt but too soft as if stewed. Service was OK as well and friendly. Nice location on a pleasant day.
