The hotel is nearby the central train station. The staff is very friendly. If you have a request they will help you find a solution. The room for one person is with toilet and bathroom so you won't need to share.I didn't have my breakfast at the hotel but elsewhere you will for sure pay more!

This is quaint, location good, lady at reception and restaurant truly a gem but when we checked in as a couple and had ordered a double and were given terrible twin beds that really did not move together as you can see from the pics and when we mentioned the problem after we had unpacked and was told "Oh yes...

Amazing value for money. Good choice of food for breakfast - I was disappointed we only had stolen on the first day, but wouldn't hold it against the hotel as it was such good value for money. Room was basic, but I was expecting this so I brought a kettle with me so I could have tea/coffee in my room....

My room was clean, staff was pleasant. Breakfast isn't anything hot. The least amount to choose from I have ever encountered in my travels. WiFi is very slow if it exists at all. Elevator is very small in this older building. You may want to take the stairs if you are claustrophobic. Very squeaky floors and stairs but it's an...

If you like modern hotels with all facilities that could be available anywhere in the world avoid this hotel! If you like charm, old-fashioned, adequate facilities in a historical environment (old town) ideally located near to main communication (HBF: main railway station) and river Rhein, then I can recommend this hotel. In addition service was good and the complementary breakfast...

Came for the football in Leverkusen and for the price we paid it was an unbelievable location. Around 3 minutes walk from the station and 1 or 2 minutes to the old town and dom catherdral. Plenty of bars and restaurants within seconds walk. Rooms small but comfy and for the time we actually spent in them it was perfect....

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in an excellent location in Cologne, a ten minute walk from the train station, museums and the cathedral. It was also close to many restaurants and bars, as well as the river. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. The showers were not very convenient. I had to ask...

It was the week of Photokina International fair in Cologne, so hotels were full and prices sky-high. Found a room in Hotel Das Kleine Stapelhäuschen through a booking site, but it turned out to be without private bathroom, they had an en suite room but much more expensive. The hotel consists of two inter-connected old houses facing Rhine River, in...

See aBove. All good for basic accommodation in a Llcentral area. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Just what you want in a strange town. Only criticism it was a little difficult to find.... even if you were next door.
