Well, what can I say…We are a well travelled couple all over the world, and never have I been asked at check in what time we want to have breakfast? I asked why I have to decide that now at check in and the answer was that ’you only get 1 hr and have to decide your time now’ ???!!! What is this, well - there is a first time for everything. The hotel is really weird and I have no idea what the interior designer was thinking as it is all a very strange missmatch. Food in restaurant totally overprized and boring menu. Charging for parking outside the hotel is not correct for a paying guest. The only good thing I could think of was the nice forest outside where we could take our dogs for a nice walk. This is absolutely NOT a 4 star hotel - we give it a very weak 3
Good hotel with pool and spa. Beds were nice and soft and rooms are very nice. The big frustration I had is how they are operating during the pandemic and the standard of the food. There was very little effort by staff and the hotel to keep distance when dining /having breakfast. The breakfast buffet in the morning was shocking... Hoards of guests crowding into the buffet area all sharing the same utensils on an open buffet area. Some didn't even bother with the face masks with no intervention from staff who just casually walked past them. Putting that issue to one side, the dinner was also disappointing.. 29 euros got me a "Philly cheese steak" which had no cheese and was merely some sliced steak and onions on a thick chunky ciabatta which sucked it any flavour.. I think this place has a lot of potential but during our visit seemed more concerned with fast food and packing in the guests rather than safety and satisfaction. …
Pictures on the hotel booking sites are nice for this place, reality is slightly different. I got a room which needed more than a make-over. Over-heated, but opening the window was an adventure during the night, since the nearby main road is very busy and noisy. The matress in the bed was awful.... not for sensitive sleepers. The restaurant is kind of strange, no natural light, but reddish light arrangements make the place feel strange, especially during breakfast. I will probably not return here ... Parking space (9€) and breakfast (18 €) are overpriced as well. The scrambled egg is powder-based ...
Positive points: - 98 places parking lot; - free swimming pool & spa for guests; Negative points: - The hotel is 25 years old. Some furniture looks worn out. - Poor soundproofing; FYI: cup of coffee - 2,5 EURO hot chocolate - 2,3 EURO
We bought a package deal which included a dinner (which was delicious - and the service was very good) and use of the wellness area. Unfortunately wellness was closed on the first day we arrived and partially another day, which was upsetting. The room was OK - I think there are bigger, nicer rooms there than the one we had. It is outside of town but it is walkable or there's a bus nearby. The breakfast buffet was OK but I wouldn't pay a lot for it if it wasn't included.
A first class hotel with excellent service. Spacious rooms, the staff is friendly. Really superb atmosphere, you can relax after a long day either in the spa or bar. The cleanliness of the hotel is exceptional. A visit to this gem is highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. Whilst it is off City Centre , there is a good bus service into town which does reduce dramatically in the evenings. Breakfast was excellent and varied . However replenishment as the session wore on was a little scant. We did not partake of dinner in the hotel mainly because the menu looked pricier that you might expect at a hotel of this standard. We were very impressed with our room - we were given a junior suite which was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The spa facility was terrific ,in both it's content and the staff attentiveness. It is certainly well up to what we come to expect from Central European facilities of this nature. Would we come back? Most definitely!!
After a long transit from Boston to Rostock, Trihotel was a welcoming retreat. The room was very comfortable and the view was pastoral. We enjoyed having our window open and waking to the harmonic song of several early birds. Staff is helpful and able to communicate in English even though I tried (terribly) to communicate in basic German. I wish we had more time with Trihotel and Rostock but Trihotel was just a stop to our final destination. However, I would recommend this hotel if you have a few days to enjoy Rostock and their beautiful Spa facilities.
... if you only look at the wellness area and the swimming pool .. you are right here ... after a few days stay at this hotel I would say price and performance do not match ... my room was clean but small. It was very warm these days in Rostock and my room had no air conditioning ... if you open the window you think, you are right on the street ... Mattresses a bit worn out ... Furniture not exactly modern ... for a bottle of water you should pay 4 € ... the bathroom is ok and has a color change in the shower .... who needs it ... WIFI is free ... the breakfast is ok, but to the 18 € to get, there is still a lot missing .. the service at the front desk varies greatly from the person behind it .. With an early departure you get unfortunately no cup of coffee ... fixed breakfast times is the reason ... On my next visit to Rostock I would unfortunately choose another hotel ... Nevertheless, thanks for your efforts ....…
